Jeremy Lin blossomed at Palo Alto High School. He entered as a 5'3" freshman but was more than 6 feet tall by his senior year.

As his height rose, so did Lin's game. He was said to be so fast on the court, it was like he was able to see in slow motion.

But Lin was more than just a basketball player. He was an exceptional student. He edited the school newspaper and was a state senator's intern.

Lin wanted to go to Stanford or UCLA. They didn't offer him a scholarship, nor did any other Division I school.

Lin's luck changed when Harvard began scouting him. His game-winning shot in the 2006 state championship sealed his fate.

He was now a Harvard Man ... But would anyone notice his skills in the Ivy League?
