Israel launches Gaza air strikes

This two-year-old Palestinian baby is said to be among the injured in Israeli air strikes on Gaza.

Ali Al-zahamreh's parents say he was sleeping with them when their home was hit.

Reuters video shows a damaged bedroom at the property in Gaza City.

Another target was said by Israel to be a weapons manufacturing site.

There was extensive damage to a shop in the Zaytoon area of Gaza City

No casualties have been reported.

Israel said it launched the weekend air strikes after four rockets were fired from Gaza towards communities in the south.

There've been no reports of injuries.

The latest violence follows a series of incidents over the past few days.

On Friday an anti-tank missile was fired at Israeli troops, damaging a security fence.

An explosive device was detonated when troops arrived at the scene, to which Israeli responded with tank fire.

A day earlier four Palestinians were wounded in an Israeli air strike which also damaged an ambulance.
