When we last featured Jeremy Lin, he had become the New York Knicks starting point guard and was about to face Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
In a post-game interview after the Lakers beat the Boston Celtics in overtime on Thursday, Kobe said he heard of Lin but "I don't even know what he's done ... I'll take a look at it tonight though."
Apparently Kobe didn't look hard enough, because the next day Lin torched LA for 38 points and 7 assists and the Knicks beat the Lakers 92-85. Lin followed up on Saturday with 20 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in a 100-98 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Jeremy Lin's 109 points in his first four starts are his first four starts are the most since the NBA merged with the ABA in 1976.
Because he is of Taiwanese heritage, Jeremy Lin is getting lots of love here in Taiwan. Jeremy Lin highlights have gone viral in Chinese. His past four games are replayed on television. President Ma Ying-jeou even cited him as an example of the importance of teamwork for his new cabinet.
