Bombardier has been recognized as SAM Sector Mover and SAM Gold Class in this year’s SAM. Sustainability Yearbook for 2012. As Sector Mover, the Canadian-based manufacturer of commercial aircraft and rail transportation equipment, systems, and services ranks within the top 15 percent of its sector, Aerospace and Defense. The SAM Gold Class award ranks the company in the top one percent of the Sector Leader’s score. Sustainable Asset Management, SAM, provides benchmark indicators of sustainability, and has been ranking the sustainability performance of 2,000 corporations yearly since 1999. The awards follow Bombardier’s fifth consecutive listing on the both the Dow Jones Sustainabiity World and the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Indexes.
