Flooding in China kills hundreds

Provinces across China have recorded record high water levels after days of rain with cities lying along the Yangtze River such as Chongqing and Guangan suffering in particular. The Three Gorges Dam, built to alleviate serious flooding, recorded flow levels of 70,000m3/sec.
