U.S. Sunlight's Solar Attic Fan and Controller Win Best Sustainable Product Award; U.S. Treasury Building Earns LEED Gold Certification - CSR Minute for January 6, 2012

The Solar Attic Fan and the Solar Controller made by US Sunlight Corp have been named the Best Sustainable Product of 2011 by Builder News magazine. Unlike traditional solar ventilation which is limited to the hours of available sunlight and is unable to operate at night or on cloudy days, U.S. Sunlight’s Solar Attic Fan uses house electricity after sunset or when solar power is not available to provide continuous ventilation. The Solar Controller allows homeowners to monitor the fan’s operating status, and attic temperature and humidity from a remote LED screen.

The U.S. Treasury Building, a National Historic Landmark, has been awarded Gold Certification from LEED, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program of the U.S. Green Building Council.
