Academic suggests migrants pay £30,000 to enter UK

Gary Becker, a University of Chicago academic, has suggested UK authorities begin charging migrants £30,000 to enter the country. Becket said the scheme would allow Britain to vet migrants more effectively and it would work out cheaper for migrants as they could avoid people traffickers.
