In 2010 Pakistan experienced the worst flooding in its history, with 20 million people affected across the country. Working through partner Church World Services -Pakistan/Afghanistan (CWS-P/A), Christian Aid has been able to meet the immediate needs of affected communities, as well as beginning to help them recover their livelihoods and build new homes.
