Christian Aid's partners are assisting farmers to increase production by providing machinery. Christian Aid partner RAADA provides motors and further equipment. In the past people worked manually and this took a long time and they could not earn much money. People now say that in comparison to previous years their production has doubled. The silk thread is taken to local towns to be made into cloth. The cloth is sold in cities and the increase in production of cloth means that everyone in the chain sees some of the profit.
