Tupac Shakur shooting: Dexter Isaac confesses
  • 12 years ago
http://www.nma.tv A convicted murderer has implicated himself in the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur in a jail cell confession he sent to a popular Hip Hop blog. Dexter Isaac says music mogul James Rosemond paid him $2,500 to rob Tupac at a NYC studio, though he didn't say if he was the one who shot the rapper. Tupac survived the shooting, which became a watershed event in the history of Hip Hop. Many consider it the first salvo in the East Coast-West Coast Rap War. The war culminated in the eventual murder of Tupac in 1996 and Biggie Smalls a year later. Issac insinuates Rosemond and Sean "Diddy" Combs were involved somehow. Meanwhile, Tupac is just as successful in death as he was in life. He has released six posthumous albums to date, and a biopic is in the works.
