And China's high-speed trains are resuming operation between Beijing and Shanghai. It comes after a deadly crash back in July in another part of the country, where two high-speed trains collided, killing 40 people.
China's high-speed trains resume operation between Beijing and Shanghai on Wednesday. It's after over three months of suspension following safety concerns.
Six of the 54 trains recalled by the Ministry of Railways in August have now resumed service. The rest will be up and running by December 6.
Safety concerns regarding China's high-speed trains sky-rocketed after the fatal crash near Wenzhou back in July. 40 people were killed, and at least 192 people were injured after two high-speed trains collided in the suburbs of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.
Then in August, 54 bullet trains were recalled due to operational problems. After three months of modifications and tests, it's hoped the high-speed trains are now up to scratch.
