Y-3 Show - New York Fashion Week Spring 2012 NYFW

http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - While we're all waiting with bated breath for the upcoming London Fashion Week, Y-3 gave us a little treat ahead of time when they made their Spring/Summer 2012 collection for New York Fashion Week all about the Brits. Guess Alexander McQueen, Kate Moss, and Kate Middleton have had an effect on us all. It certainly did for streetwear label Yohji Yamamoto and their creative director Dirk Schonberger looked to British youth to tell him what's cool for the collection. There was mod, there was tartan, there was tradition. There was punk style, there was volume, there were ruffles, and yes, there was some Victorian era amidst the British trends. There were also leather bombers and Burberry-like trenches and checkered suits, which make us dream of London Fashion Week before realizing it's less than a week away!
