http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK - Vivienne Tam says her collection for Spring/Summer 2012 comes from nature and natural elements like the plant. But among all the floral and fauna in prints, patterns, appliques and embroideries, we spy true worthwhile designer talent, which Tam has always been known for. But while designer Tadashi Shoji focused on the petals of a flower in the way a garment was structured, Tam put orchids and bamboo on her clothes and only occasionally focused on the structure of the outfit when she included petal sleeves and orchid cutouts. It did very much look like you were walking into a bright and colorful Japanese garden.
