The Khmer Rouge regime in the 1970s is considered to have caused the deaths of at least 1.7 million Cambodians - by starvation, disease or execution. Now, three decades on, former Khmer Rouge leaders are finally being tried in court. Legal experts from Cambodia are in Germany to find out more about the painful process of confronting past genocide.
