Arabic-Web-Closure of Brazilian dump threatens livelihoods

Latin America's largest trash dump, outside Rio, is also the workplace of some 8,000 people, "catadors" whose livelihood comes from pulling glass, aluminum and other recyclables from the stinking heap of refuse. Their jobs are illegal, difficult and hazardous to their health. But now the dump is closing, and that could spell an even worse fate for many. A voiced AFPTV report.
