Obama jokes as presidential seal falls off lectern

Barack Obama was addressing a gathering of prominent women when the presidential seal fell off the front of his lectern.

"That's all right. All of you know who I am," the US President joked, looking over the lectern at the fallen seal.

"But I'm sure there's somebody back there that's really nervous right now. Don't you think? They're sweating bullets back there right now."

Mr Obama was attending Fortune Magazine's "Most Powerful Women" summit in Washington, DC.
