Avalanches and falls climbing Mount Makalu, Nepal

Guy Cotter, a climber with two Everest climbs is joined by experienced mountaineers Takashi Ozaki and Bryan Moore with sherpa Lhakpa Dorjee attempt to climb Makalu in Nepal; the world's fifth highest mountain. Though the team have decades of experience including the world's highest mountains this documentary records the gruelling and relentless battle they face overcoming high altitude sickness, acclimatisation, weather impossible to navigate in, dramatic falls and an avalanche to try and summit Makalu.
