Times are tough for companies and their trainees. With businesses struggling, trainees are less likely to be hired once they've qualified. Few young engineers are finding work these days. This could in turn lead in the long-term to a lack of skilled employees when the economy takes off again.But a new project in Bavaria is tackling the problem with an initiative designed to help young people on to the career ladder.
