“LES ARTS TURCS” marks its 11 years of cultural mission and for this reason we would like to celebrate by giving foreign photographers the opportunity to capture the importance of the historical peninsula & modern Istanbul. The photo competition is designed to encourage foreign photographers of all skill levels to submit photos that visually express how the whole city has undertaken the mission of all activities during the candidacy of Istanbul: 2010 European Capital of Culture

We received 1117 photos with 213 photographer from 40 countries. Italy has joined with 34 photographer. Following italy with 26 contester comes Russia and after that France with 20 contester. Thanks to all contesters and volunteers who supported our non profit - volunteer project in 2009.
