00:00For a team that is in contention, this is exactly why you needed to bring in at least one, maybe two starters,

00:06because Crochet is your most important player, and he needs to be rested.

00:11He was rested given an extra two days out of the All-Star break.

00:14He was given an extra two days after his start in the last series.

00:18I don't think he all of a sudden sucks, and he's going to be allowing five runs in less than five innings the rest of the season,

00:24but it is a concern because this is the area that the analysts, i.e. Breslow, were concerned about.

00:30See, I'm not concerned just yet because it's one clunker, and I think he's had two clunkers all year long.

00:37If he has a couple of these, then you can maybe say his next couple of starts, and you're like,

00:44all right, wait a second, he just doesn't look the same, then you might get concerned a little bit.

00:50I told you, I'm not going to be too concerned with it.

00:52I'm more watching guys like Baio and Giolito when you look at the last time we saw Giolito walk four

01:00and one inning consecutively, and Baio doesn't have his bet.

01:05Those are the guys that you kind of say, like, all right, well, we needed you to continue at the level that you're at,

01:13so that's where I would be a little bit concerned, and then that's where I would be like, Breslow,

01:17that's why you should have added because we, you know, we all believe that Baio and Giolito

01:25wouldn't be able to sustain what they were doing for the remainder of the season and into the postseason.

01:30I mean, at least for me, it's not teams that are way worse than the Red Sox.

01:33Like, the Astros are number one in the AL West, but then you look at the Padres,

01:38they're second in their division.

01:40Like, these are good teams that they're falling to, but the Red Sox just need to be in that

01:44if they want to have any hope in the postseason.
