00:00Yeah, let's go to a different route.
00:03Jack Kohanowitz, seven plus hits allowed at plus 180.
00:06Oh, yeah.
00:06And this is just like, normally Selmy's like, oh, maybe two RBIs, three RBIs,
00:10a couple extra total bases, blah, blah, blah.
00:11Jack Kohanowitz, seven plus hits allowed at plus 180.
00:15Going up against the Detroit Tigers, obviously no.
00:18Kohanowitz has not been good as of late.
00:20Nine, eight, six, five, six hits allowed in some of his recent starts.
00:24Again, we talked about this.
00:25He's not a big strikeout pitcher.
00:26He walks too many guys.
00:28The ball isn't played.
00:29The hard contact is all there.
00:30There is a scenario where he goes three innings and he gives up five earned runs
00:35over six hits with a couple of walks, sack flies, errors, wherever it might be,
00:39and he's out of the game just because it's five earned runs in three innings
00:42and he just doesn't have enough time to give up seven hits.
00:46That's the only way I see him losing.
00:47I don't see him losing because he goes six innings and gives up one earned run
00:51and is actually absolutely spectacular.
00:53The only way he gets pulled is because of it's early,
00:55but the hits will be there for the Tigers in a great matchup.
00:58It's like you want that slow bleed, right, Tom?
01:00Like, he can give up five runs.
01:02Give him up over five innings.
01:03Like, give him one in the first, one in the third, maybe two in the fourth,
01:06one in the fifth but gets out of it.
01:08His pitch count's still low, comes back out there,
01:10but all along giving up those hits as well.
01:11The ones you hate are like, he only went two-thirds of an inning
01:14and gave up six hits.
01:16It's like, oh, man, come on.
01:18Like, I just needed a few more, but he was so bad,
01:20he had to pull him from the baseball game.
01:21We've certainly seen that happen before, but Kwanowitz should get hit today, rightfully so.
01:25Not a strikeout pitcher, which means that ball's going to be in play.
01:27We'll see what happens.
01:28For me, I'm going to go down and also take the Philadelphia Phillies game and say,
01:31oh, Donnie's going with the Philadelphia Phillies batter or pitcher.
01:33No, he's not.
01:34It's going against him today.
01:35Do I think the Phillies win with Zach Wheeler?
01:36Probably so.
01:37But I have to be honest.
01:38You watch the Phillies game sometime, they do like to strike out.
01:41Patrick Corbin, resurgent this year in his career as a lefty.
01:44He's the last 30 days in Major League Baseball time.
01:46How about a 27% K rate for the lefty?
01:48If we look at the last five games, 6Ks, 6Ks, 7Ks, 6Ks, but then only 3Ks in his last start
01:56against the New York Yankees.
01:57The reason I like that too is he's rested.
01:59Only three innings pitched and 18 total batters in that game.
02:01He should go five plus innings.
02:03If I'm looking at the Philadelphia Phillies lineup today over the past 30 days against lefties
02:07here, Schwarber, 42% strikeout rate, Castellanos, 38%, Riomuto, 35%, Sosa, 35%, Kent, 32%, Harrison
02:17Bader, 35%.
02:18It's a lot of Ks in that lineup today.
02:20I need six.
02:21But also, if I wanted to give a play out to the people here and sell me something, same
02:25way as you, Tom, plus 180, we got to go plus money here.
02:28I went plus 112 to sort of up the ante just a little bit.
02:31I think there's a really good chance Corbin goes five innings and gets six strikeouts
02:34today and can cash in that plus 112 price.
02:37So there's some pitchers props today, Tom, for the plus for us today.
02:41Absolutely got to bank on a little bit of variance in, you know, good and bad ways for pitchers.
