00:06night. Your circadian rhythm is approximately 24 hours, but it's actually closer to 23 hours.
00:11Which means that every day you are losing one hour of sleep, and if you don't make up that
00:14one hour on the weekend, you ll end up with a massive debt of sleep that will negatively
00:18affect your health in ways you could want to even imagine. In order to function optimally,
00:22our bodies need to be in sync with the natural world. We need to get sunlight in the morning.
00:26And we need to be in the dark at night. This is how we used to live for millions of years.
00:30And this is how we can start to heal from the sleep epidemic that is plaguing our society.
