00:00one thing that people would probably be surprised about is that uh you know the holster he was

00:08fiercely loyal to especially like the the og crew from season one you know he didn't he didn't love

00:14change um and he really just you know he really the trust really developed over the seasons but

00:22um he really trusted and liked his crew he gained so much trust in us you know i don't think i'm

00:29speaking out of school when i say the show was softly scripted right like he he we would have a

00:35direction he'd know we needed to get from a to b but everything else in the middle was all was all

00:40them um but i i remember one specific point season four that goes it speaks on the trust that was

00:48built up but um he and linda were having some marital marital marital problems um and we we you know we

00:56we had set up a uh a therapist for them to to go to to to talk about their stuff and um you know

01:04they start their their session and a couple minutes in he's like hold on is this the work or a shoot

01:10you know like he the the line was kind of always blurred you know that's the the wrestling term for

01:15like is this real or fake but um you know they sure they trusted us enough to to go places and to

01:21really talk about some of the problems that they were having our field crew was about 20 people

01:26deep and um terry knew everybody's name all the way down to the pas um and i i saw him three times

01:34after hogan knows best and brooke knows best was done filming um over the course of 18 years and

01:40the first time was that uh i went to to support brooke she had a music event and terry welcomed me and

01:48the crew i was with into their little vip section the second time uh i was shooting a pilot with

01:55rick slayer and his son and terry went out of his way he was refereeing the match but he also wanted

02:01to make sure we had everything we needed and after the you know after the match and everything like

02:07that he stuck around and waited to make sure we had everything we needed or if we needed him to

02:12give a little pep talk anything like that uh and the last time i i was directing the reality portion

02:17of the last season of tough enough he was one of the judges and um at that point i hadn't seen him

02:23in probably five years or so uh first day at work i i pull up and he sees me across the room comes

02:30right over and starts talking starts asking about crew members by name uh so we we just chopped it up

02:36like like old times so that was that was pretty cool but he he remembered uh his crew and he treated

02:41his crew very well
