00:00InshaAllah from the Rahmah of Allah that we don't claim to be anything and asking to take a path of
00:23being nothing and that if not for the Rahmah of Allah that we are in non-existence and a reminder
00:34for myself that we talk a little bit now before I fall asleep because the zikr and the mafia keep
00:41going and we've been travelling since early morning so I say, I better talk now before I pass out.
00:46The reminder for myself from the way of the turuqs is a school of Adab that we're not coming to show how much
00:59Qur'an we've memorised and how many hadiths we've memorised but these are the schools of Adab and
01:05they teach us the ways of marifa and how to have good character so that Allah's ridha address us,
01:13Prophet ﷺ address us, awliyaullah ﷺ address us and we should find success in our life,
01:20dunya and most importantly our akhir. And a reminder for ourselves that from these schools of akhlaq,
01:29they're teaching us that before we think how big we are, how much we memorise, how much we pray,
01:36that if you come to just your shahada . You don't see it. So your shahada is not correct.
01:49You're imitated shahada. So before we have to go into too much iloom and trying to prove who's who and
01:56who's what, go back and always remember that, Ya Rabbi my shahada is not real because I'm not witnessing you
02:04and I'm not witnessing Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Because Prophet ﷺ described Maqam al-Ihsan,
02:11pray as if you see Allah . So there are people who through their heart they can pray with
02:17what Allah wants them to see, they see. And there are many from Salihi and Awliyaullah who in their
02:26salam they see Prophet ﷺ. And they say, As-salamu alayka ayyuh al-Nabi ﷺ in present tense
02:33Prophet ﷺ must be facing them, not the back of Prophet ﷺ. But it's the Wajjikal Kareem,
02:39the holy face of Prophet ﷺ must be facing them. So they give this as an understanding that this is our goal,
02:47to reach to Maqam al-Ihsan and to make our Islam to be real. Because if that shahada becomes real,
02:55then the next is the salah. The salah becomes real. The zakah is they sacrifice themselves entirely
03:02and they become muhlis. Their whole life is to live a life of sacrifice and their Ramadan is through all of their senses.
03:12The mutaqeen is that they have taqwa over all five senses. They're not just they say they have taqwa
03:21and they're granted taqwa. They have the taqwa and of their hearing. Where Allah accepted their hearing
03:29and they released a level of sincerity. They have taqwa through their seeing. They have taqwa through their breath.
03:38They have taqwa through their hearing. They have taqwa through their feeling and their qadam is based on taqwa.
03:45Wa quna ma sadaqeen.
03:47Mutaqullah . Allah describing these mutaqeen that they are completely in submission.
03:54Means this is the goal. Then when we come into our own lives, they're reminding us with all the nat sharif
04:02and all the grief and all the crying because we're all the people of ahli muhabbat. So alhamdulillah
04:07we're almost halfway there because there are many people who don't have the love and their practice
04:13and their amal is not based on love and muhabbat. Alhamdulillah that the way of muhabbat that we're making the nat sharif,
04:23we're doing the mafir, we're doing the zikr and then they're reminding to us that with all that we're doing
04:30it's not entering into the heart. It's not entering into the heart so that we can reach to the maqams of sincerity.
04:42That's what's important in our life is that with all that we're doing and reciting and what we're crying.
04:51Alhamdulillah it'll be a distraction. Don't worry.
04:57InshaAllah because everything shaitan comes to make a distraction.
05:01That means like everything upside down then this what's coming from information will be cut.
05:07Means that everything that we are doing is to reach that goal. So important for us they give the goal.
05:16That we are trying to reach to see Prophet ﷺ, to make our Islam to be real, to reach to maqam al-ihsan.
05:26And if we're not reaching there there's something wrong in the amal that we're doing.
05:31And when we're crying for nat sharif and crying for the mafi means that love is there.
05:37But what is it in the character that not opening sincerity?
05:42And that's the way where Prophet ﷺ described who knows himself knows his Lord.
05:47Means these are the people of tafakkur and contemplation.
05:51If I want to know my Lord I have to know myself.
05:55I have to sit on a nightly basis and make tafakkur.
05:59Contemplate with my heart.
06:01And in that tafakkur you make a muhasabah.
06:04That every night the way they told us is every night you make a tafakkur.
06:10That Ya Rabbi I want to reach and I'm not reaching.
06:13My shahara is not real.
06:15My salah is not real.
06:17My zakah is not real.
06:19It's all by the rahmah of Allah that He's keeping us going.
06:23Because we are not yet Rijalullah.
06:26The Rijalullah, Allah granted their amal to be real.
06:30If we didn't reach to that every night we should be in a tafakkur and contemplation.
06:36And then they remind us Ya Rabbi that when I'm making tafakkur what am I doing?
06:41Who did I harm today?
06:43Who did I aggravate today?
06:45Who did I hurt with my tongue and I affected their heart?
06:49All of that will be in an account that blocks the heart of the believer.
06:54If we don't take a nightly muhasabah then we are wasting our time with all the amal that
07:01we are doing because you are going one step forward but ten steps back.
07:06As you do all these actions of love and all of these practices of love,
07:10but all day long we're hurting people with our hands, with our actions, with our tongue,
07:16and that we're doing things that maybe Allah not pleased with,
07:20Prophet ﷺ not pleased with, Awliyaullah not pleased with,
07:23and we find no growth in our life.
07:25We find that nothing is growing, nothing is blossoming,
07:28and most of all your rizq will come short.
07:31Your hand becomes short to what Allah wants to give.
07:34Because when Allah is ridah and satisfied, He's dressing upon the soul.
07:40Allah's ridah dresses the soul and the rizq hits the soul,
07:44means the lights and beatific lights and the knowledges and angelic power dress the soul.
07:50When the soul is abundantly dressed, the rizq of the physical body is overflowing.
07:57Means when you run after dunya, dunya running away from you.
08:02When you're running towards Mawla, towards Allah , dunya is chasing after you.
08:07So then they begin to recalibrate the compass.
08:10That if these things I'm meeting this criteria, where my shahadah is not real,
08:16I have love of Prophet ﷺ.
08:17Oh, he would love of Prophet ﷺ.
08:19But why am I not seeing Prophet ﷺ?
08:21Is he hiding from me?
08:23He's right there in front of me.
08:25Oh, my salat salamu alayka ayyuhal nabi.
08:28But why is my amal not good enough?
08:31And Allah didn't grant sincerity enough that this veil to be lifted.
08:36And they begin to teach from these characters that when you take a muhasabah and accounting of yourself,
08:42everything will come under that accounting.
08:45And then Allah many times inspired awliyaullah to look at my nature.
08:51Don't look at humans.
08:52Humans they have big head and big egos.
08:55Look at the nature.
08:57And one famous one was Jalaluddin Rumi.
09:00He was looking and making tafakkur and we have many nods and we have many poetries.
09:06He's making a tafakkur and he put a flame because they used a candle, the barakah of a candle.
09:12As soon as you light a candle for ibadah, there's mala'ika attached to that candle.
09:17As long as that light is lit, they are praising on our behalf to the Divinely Presence.
09:23So they would light to read Qur'an and to do the durood, they would light a candle.
09:28He lit a candle and he's looking at the flame and mesmerized by the fire.
09:34Knowing that this fire is the fire of the ahshakeen, that this fire is the condition of his heart.
09:42That if my heart is not lit and I'm not feeling the love for Prophet ﷺ, not feeling the love for Allah , it's a dead heart.
09:51He's looking at the candle and he's lost in the understanding of being ishq and to be in love with the Divinely Presence.
10:00And what he sees is the moth.
10:03And the moth comes, it goes right into the fire.
10:08It's big.
10:09Allah is just saying, with all your big size and all your big head, you can't sacrifice one bad characteristic.
10:19You can't sacrifice anything.
10:21Everything has to be your way, everything has to be the way you like.
10:26You pick and choose friends based on you but not based on whom Allah loves and who Prophet ﷺ loves.
10:34A mukhlas, they don't care what somebody did to them.
10:39It's not about a vengeance.
10:41This is not about me.
10:43It's the me that has to die.
10:46My desires, my ananiyyah, my farang inside me that says,
10:50that this one was bad to me.
10:53I'm not talking to him anymore.
10:55Who are you?
10:56You're Pharaoh.
10:57Allah didn't care about you.
10:59The mukhlas,
11:01.
11:03Ya Rabbi, you want that one?
11:05I'm of service.
11:06You don't want that one?
11:08I'm of service.
11:09And they lived their whole life with that understanding.
11:13It's not about what I want.
11:16It's not about what my desire is.
11:19It's my desire and my want that blocking everything from ikhlas.
11:24So he's looking at the flame and the moth goes like a bomber right into that flame.
11:30Not thinking anything of itself and completely burned.
11:34Who can do that?
11:36Who can copy just one example of Allah's creatures?
11:42And then he's, SubhanAllah,
11:44Ya Rabbi what coordinates you gave to this moth.
11:47How it sacrificed itself completely for your love.
11:51Because why the moth goes to the fire?
11:53Have you seen the bugs outside?
11:54When you put candles and then back home,
11:57all the bugs go straight into the fire.
12:00Because they remember this fire.
12:02They see that fire as a fire of ishq, of Divine Presence,
12:06and they don't think anything and go into that fire.
12:09That for us is a reminder that every time you have mushkilat in your life,
12:15it wasn't about you coming and making everything comfortable,
12:19everything payable,
12:21everybody in love and in happiness and in romance.
12:25Allah just said,
12:26just you copy not all my Rasuls,
12:28not all the Sahabi,
12:30not all these big buzzerga,
12:32copy my one moth.
12:34What do we call the moth?
12:36Parwana.
12:37Parwana.
12:38It's like we say butterfly is parwana.
12:40Copy one of these parwana and I'll be so happy with you.
12:44Means every time you hit the flame and everybody knows when they have a fire.
12:49When things are coming short and you feel difficulty,
12:53means,
12:54Ya Rabbi let it to go.
12:55Why Allah is burning you?
12:57Because He wants to burn everything other than His love.
13:02Everything else has to go.
13:04We just saw a big fire.
13:0770,000 say,
13:10means that in one moment Allah gave a command,
13:15entire sin was taken out by fire.
13:19Allah giving us so many different examples
13:25that when I don't wound something, I don't wound it in you.
13:29The understanding of Jahannam is what?
13:32Everybody has to go through the fire.
13:35Why everybody has to go through the fire?
13:37Because all that exists other than Allah is going to be burned.
13:41That all this garbage you're bringing with you,
13:45of your nafs, of your desire, of your money,
13:48all the things you want, you've attached them to yourself.
13:52My kingdom, none of that can come.
13:55First go through the fire wall.
13:57So we have computers that Allah again teaching us through our computer.
14:00Everybody who's worked on computers, they have a fire wall.
14:04Why?
14:05They're not going to let that virus inside.
14:08If Allah's teaching you through the computer that your virus can't get into that computer,
14:13it will shut it down.
14:15So how I'm going to let your virus into my paradise?
14:19Because these are then the realities of our life.
14:23Why wait for Allah to burn?
14:25Why wait for Allah to say,
14:26Oh, you have too much excess baggage.
14:29Let's keep it right here and start to burn it away.
14:32As-Shaqeen and Ahl Al-Tafakkur, they understood.
14:36They say, Ya Rabbi, I'm halfway there, I have the love.
14:40You granted me a huge netman that you put this love,
14:43Then Allah just said, I gave you halfway.
14:50I gave you that love to seek out Prophet ﷺ, and I'm going to love you.
14:55When I love you, I'm very jealous.
14:58When I look into your heart, I don't want to see a woman in your heart.
15:02I don't want to see your Mercedes in your heart.
15:05I don't want to see your bank accounts in your heart.
15:07I don't want to see your Ananiya, that you pick and choose based off of who
15:13and who's been nice to you and bad to you.
15:16You be a servant of mine, and whoever did whatever they did for you, did to you,
15:22it's not your business.
15:24That I'm your Lord, I'm the one who sustains you, and you are my servant,
15:29and you merely serve Allah .
15:31That they don't put their opinion in anything.
15:36Allah loves the one, they dispatch them, and they send the message.
15:41Allah doesn't love the one, they have nothing to do with it.
15:44But they don't put themselves in the middle of that scenario.
15:48And in everything in our lives, they want us to take a tafakkur.
15:53They try to reach a level in which we willingly burn away all the excess baggage.
16:00When Allah is showing the fire is very near, in one moment another fire comes, in one moment another catastrophe comes, in one moment an earthquake comes, in one moment a tsunami comes.
16:13And everything will be taken away and at that moment you'll be in the presence of Allah with only your character.
16:23Allah will be in the presence of Allah .
16:24Allah will be in the presence of Allah .
16:25And Allah will be in the presence of Allah .
16:26And Allah will be in the presence of Allah .
16:27They carry a tremendous responsibility.
16:30They're trying to wear the sunnah and keep the sunnah to show their love for Sayyidina Muhammad .
16:36If you are loving Sayyidina Muhammad SAW, you are an ambassador for Prophet SAW.
16:41And Prophet SAW was Rahmatan lil'alameen, not the beater of people and the cursor of people
16:48and the tribal person of people.
16:51He broke all barriers, he loved everyone.
16:54He tried to bring everyone to the love of Sayyidina Allah .
16:58And Prophet SAW then teaching, if you're going to carry my sunnah, at least be an ambassador
17:04for ishq and for love.
17:06That you fight only yourself, you come against only yourself, you should only have the only
17:12enemy you should have is yourself.
17:15And every night you're sitting in tafakkur crying, Ya Rabbi this self of mine like a zombie,
17:20it's not going anywhere.
17:22And every night I'm looking at myself and realize I did everything wrong that day, I'm loving
17:27everything other than you.
17:29How many people made a hijrah into this region with the intention for money and not for Allah
17:36and His Rasul?
17:38You moved away from Allah's and His Rasul because the intention was for money.
17:44What Allah showed you with that, in one day, eight hours, that intention was burned.
17:51Now you look back, there's nothing there.
17:54This is a sign, there's a tremendous amount of believers in this area, and Allah loves
18:00them.
18:01And Allah is warning for us that if you're loving dunya, dunya is going.
18:07If you're happy with your bad character, you're going to see difficulty in the grave.
18:12But if it's me that you love and Sayyidina Muhammad SAW that you love, then take a nightly accounting,
18:18take a muhassabah that, Ya Rabbi, what am I living for?
18:22I'm living for money and day-to-day pay, money's everywhere.
18:27But I should be living a life in which I'm serving.
18:31Serving Allah through His beloved Sayyidina Muhammad SAW.
18:35Ba khatmatan Nabi Kareem means that do whatever you can do for the love of Prophet SAW.
18:40You travel great distances for the love of Sayyidina Muhammad SAW.
18:44Why?
18:45So that maybe Prophet's Nazar will be upon you and that Prophet SAW will be happy with
18:50you and take mushkilat and difficulty away from you.
18:54I pray always for myself as a reminder for myself that difficulty all around us, don't
19:00be so quick to think that we have to throw it off and to get it to be prayed off, but
19:05to find the hikmah and the wisdom that if a moth goes into the fire and completely surrenders
19:13itself for the love of Allah or if we are ashikin of Sayyidina Muhammad SAW, at least we can
19:21put the wing near the flame to get a little bit of, okay, the difficulty is making my life
19:27a little sweeter.
19:28When you have difficulty, you cry unto Allah .
19:32When you have difficulty, you're crying unto the Prophet SAW.
19:34Ya Sayyid Ya Rasul Kareem, take my case to Allah .
19:39That is dear to them.
19:41But why you have to be in difficulty to achieve that?
19:45You can achieve that every night.
19:46Ya Rabbi, don't need difficulty.
19:48Ah, I love you so much, I'm trying to change my character, I'm going to beat myself down.
19:55Every time somebody offends me, I'm going to go with more love to them.
19:59Every time they insult my character, I'm going to go with more love for them.
20:04I'm going to scrub myself, I don't need you to scrub me.
20:08We pray that Allah open these realities in the holy month of Shaban.
20:12Now coming Laylatul Bara in which Allah will write the destiny of the souls.
20:17We pray that Allah write a good destiny for us, feel the rizq and satisfaction, light
20:22of Islam, Iman, wa maqam al-ihsan, and the nazar of Sayyidi Muhammad SAW be upon us.
20:27Oh Ya Allah be upon us, and that the rida and satisfaction to dress us.
20:31إِلَّهِيَانْتِ مَقْسُودِ وَرِيدَةِ مَتْلُوا
20:33شِيْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْإِزَّةِ عَمَّنْ يَسِيْفُونَ
20:36وَسَلَامُنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
20:38وَحَمَّلِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالِمِينَ
20:40مُحَمَّدِ الْمُسْتَفَانِ وَسِيَةِ سُورَةِ الْفَادِيَةِ
20:47So with that.
