00:00Shabbat Shabbat Shabbat Shalom
00:30Alhamdulillah always asking to be nothing and enter the oceans of nothingness and Allah
00:37and blessings always be upon us. Alhamdulillah with the barakah and blessings of Mawlidun
00:44Nabi ﷺ and entered the third lunar month and in the power of nine and in the reality
00:55of nine and in the secrets of opening from the secrets of Bismillahirrahmanirrahim that
01:03we entered in through Surat Al-Tawbah the ninth surah which has no Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
01:10that to enter into the ways of Marifa in the understanding of the Shams Al-Arifin in the
01:17realities of Prophet ﷺ that awliyaullah come into our lives and begin to teach us that
01:22enter in through Surat Al-Tawbah and Tawbah is a repentance, come through the door of
01:29repentance in which you wish to sacrifice your bad characteristics to reach Allah's ni'mat,
01:36the divinely pleasure and the presence of all the Prophets and their dress and their realities,
01:43the Sahabi Kiram and Ahlul Bayt Al-Kiram and Awliyaullah that from that Tawbah they moved
01:51us to be from Ashab Al-Kaf and in the 18th Surah and from the 18th Surah the second month
02:00opens the third lunar month which is the three times the nine which is the reality of 27.
02:08The 27th Surah is now a description of that reality how to enter and how to be dressed
02:16by that reality and the Bismillahirrahmanirrahim will be found within that Surah.
02:26That Surat Al-Nam is about the ant but many realities within that Surah the first of which
02:34of the Qassah and important teachings that Allah wants for us is that while entering one
02:42is the secret of 27 that our holy days and holy nights are based on the gate and the reality
02:51of 27 that we have Laylatul Qadr on the 27th, Israhi wal Miraj on the 27th.
02:58And there is a secret that is a gate towards the Divinely Presence.
03:03And for us to understand that through Holy Qur'an begins to describe in the 27th Surah the
03:11story of Sayyidina Musa because this is entering into the Divinely Presence and the character and
03:18akhlaq in which Allah wants.
03:20For the servant means that come with the repentance in Surah 9, Surah Tawbah, repent and sacrifice
03:29your bad characteristics.
03:32Enter in on 18th through the Surah and through the cave of salvation.
03:39That leave the ignorance that people are following and enter into the mercy and into the rahmah
03:47of Allah through the Divinely Cave.
03:50And that cave can be found within the heart of the believer.
03:53That the cave of mercy is that, My Lord, I'm asking to leave all wickedness and move into
03:59your Divinely Presence and your rahmah.
04:01And then they begin to teach, move into your heart so that Allah can begin to dress the heart
04:07from the rahmah and from the mercy.
04:10And then the 27th which is the baab and the opening of that presence that Nebi Musa described
04:17to his family at the beginning of the Surah that, I see a fire.
04:23I see a fire and perchance let me go get some khabar, some news, some knowledge, some realities.
04:33Or maybe I get a light and a heat and a warmth to light our fire.
04:40And alhamdulillah from Mawlana al-Sheikh's teaching that one, this Divinely Presence that
04:46Nebi Musa is describing for us is that you have to enter into the fire of divine realities.
04:54That it's not the nur but it's the nar.
04:57That Allah is Divinely light like a Shams.
05:00Because this is from the reality of Shams al-Arifin, the reality of the sons of the Divinely Presence.
05:07That's S-U-N-S, not S-O-N.
05:11The son of the Divinely Presence is a fire and the fire that burns away all incorrectness
05:19and illuminates all of creation and nourishes everything.
05:24Means that Nebi Musa describes, now I see that fire and begins to tell his family that
05:30I want to approach that fire, let me to go get knowledges from that reality.
05:36Means that what they're opening for us and asking us to enter into that ocean is for Divinely
05:43realities.
05:45And then the second was that perchance we may get a light so that we can bring back that
05:51light to illuminate our lives and our existence and our communities.
05:56Means that Divinely Presence, the heart in which can take that reality, they begin to teach
06:04now becomes important.
06:06That when entering into the Divinely Presence and entering into that Divinely reality, everything
06:14of the character is important.
06:16Because they begin to introduce from Allah , from Holy Qur'an and then from the Hadith
06:23of Prophet ﷺ.
06:24The Hadith Al-Qudsi from Prophet ﷺ described, I think it's the Hadith Al-Qudsi number 15.
06:36Is an important understanding for moving towards that reality.
06:43The Prophet ﷺ described, Allah saying that, I am as my servant thinks I am.
06:52I am with him when he makes mention of me.
06:56And if he makes mention of me to himself, I make mention of him to myself.
07:02If he makes mention of me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better.
07:08If he draws near to me an arm's length, I draw near to him, the description here is like
07:15a cupid.
07:16But you come an inch and Allah comes a mile into your Divinely Presence.
07:22You make a step and Allah comes running into your presence to bring you into the Divinely
07:27Presence.
07:29But the beginning of that is important in understanding the Akhlaaf that Allah , through
07:35Holy Hadith, that it was holy enough to be mentioned and it's below the understanding of
07:41Holy Qur'an , is Holy Hadith.
07:45It was so important for our understanding that Allah describing, I am as my servant thinks
07:51I am.
07:55Means that on the 27th gate, when it begins to open, that you want to approach the Divinely
08:02Presence, awliyaullah come into our life and pious people come into our life and begin
08:08to teach, God will be as your character portrays it to be.
08:18Means based on the cleanliness of your intention, based on the cleanliness of your Akhlaaq, God
08:25will appear as what you want it to appear.
08:30So then clarify for yourself, what is it that you want from Allah's Divinely Presence.
08:36Means if you are coming into that presence, that's why to clean.
08:40If you're coming and moving towards the Divinely Presence, but you're angry, you'll find God
08:46to be very angry.
08:47I am as my servant wishes me to be.
08:52Means you see the world through your eyes.
08:57When you're judgmental and we're judgmental in our character and judge everything, we believe
09:03Allah to be judgmental over everything.
09:09If we're angry, we believe Allah to be angry over everything.
09:13If we're merciful, we believe Allah to be merciful over everything.
09:19That's why they want to clarify for us the Akhlaaq and the character.
09:25Why the schools of Tarbiya, they focus on good character, because they're teaching that
09:32we want to take you through this Baab, through this gate, and into this reality, but be very
09:38careful as you enter into that fire, Prophet ﷺ giving a holy hadith, that if your understanding
09:45is incorrect, you will find Allah in the state that you are in.
09:51Because Allah wasn't a burning bush, but Nabi Musa was cold.
09:58If you're cold, Allah will appear as a warmth.
10:03If you were hot, you wouldn't be looking for a fire.
10:05Means Allah says, as you're drawing near to me, perfect your character.
10:12Because if you approach me with anger, then you're going to assume that everything about
10:17me is angry.
10:18And that I'm angry at everyone and now look out on the television, how all faiths, they
10:24feel that it's necessary to kill everyone.
10:27They think this is what God wants.
10:29God spoke to me and I'm now going to obliterate everybody.
10:33Because they have that dirtiness within themselves.
10:36They have the bad characteristics within themselves.
10:40And what they believe is the Divinely Presence, is what they are making it to manifest.
10:48So then the teaching, the highest and the best approach is that to believe God, Allah is
10:55a rahmah and a mercy and that His mercy far outdoes His wrath and His punishment and approach
11:02Allah with a Divine Love.
11:06If you empty your heart of all the bad characteristics of hatred and jealousy and enmity and envy and
11:12all of the bad characteristics, if you can empty yourself of that and approach Allah with
11:19Divinely Love, you should see Allah as a Divine source of Love.
11:26Loving all His creation, loving everything that Allah has created.
11:31Only in that state of perfection, you begin to witness the perfection of Allah within the
11:37Divinely Heart.
11:39If that's not clarified and if that's not purified and that station is not understood and established,
11:46then you cannot take the servant into that presence.
11:51Means there's no spiritual growth.
11:53The servant will be looked at their understanding.
11:57Then Allah says in the Holy Quran, that have seen those who make their desires their Lord.
12:03They begin to make a desire within themselves and they say, that's Allah.
12:09Means every bad characteristic, they say, this is what God wants for me and this is the
12:14way that God is, the way Allah is.
12:17We pray that on these holy nights and these holy months that we understand the necessity
12:24to take out from the heart all bad characteristics.
12:29And as much as we can take out from those bad characteristics, that fire of Divine Love begins
12:36to burn within the heart.
12:38The yearning within the heart that is the way of realities.
12:44That instead of the fire that burns outside and burns everyone, that the heart begins to
12:50contain it.
12:52It contains all of its judgment.
12:54It contains all of its abuse.
12:57It contains everything that this world puts upon it.
13:01And stays and renders itself to be quiet and turn its affairs over to the Divine Presence.
13:08Judge not for you shall be judged.
13:11As much as you judge, Allah is going to judge you.
13:15Means this sword becomes very sharp and it's two directions.
13:18If you are going to be judgmental in everything, Allah says, sit right here, I'm going to judge
13:24you exactly how you judged everyone.
13:28And nobody is going to win that type of relationship.
13:32Many times, we said before from Mawlana Shaykh's teaching, is beg and pray that, Ya Rabbi, grade
13:38me on a curve.
13:41If everybody is in difficulty, everybody is in a jahaliya, then grade us on a curve of everybody
13:48being jahal, and have mercy upon us Ya Rabbi, forgive us our wrongdoings and our bad actions.
13:55And by the grace of God, we should be safe.
13:58It means that all these characteristics have to leave.
14:01If the person has these characteristics, then they will face a difficulty while approaching
14:07the Divine Presence.
14:09We pray that Allah take away these difficulties open for us from these realities.
14:14The next month is 36, which is Surat al-Yaseen, means entering into the presence of the Divinely
14:20Heart that becomes defined as the heart, the prophetic heart, the heart of the Holy Qur'an,
14:27Surat al-Yaseen ﷺ, which is the name of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
14:32Subhara wa biqa rabbal izzati amma yasiqoon wa salamuna al-mursaleen.
14:37Alhamdulillahi rabbil al-alameen, bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
