00:00President 39R Marcus Jr. is set to visit India from August 4 to 8 upon the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

00:09During his five-day trip, he will hold official meetings with Indian leaders in New Delhi and Bangalore

00:14and engage with business leaders to strengthen economic ties.

00:18He will also meet with the Filipino community there.

00:20This marks the first Philippine state visit to India since former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's visit in 2007.

00:26The trip coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and India

00:32aimed at boosting cooperation in trade, technology, and regional security.
