Tintern Abbey remains as one of Wales most historical buildings.
Tintern Abbey was founded in 1131 by cistercian monks but it was abandoned after Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries in the 1530s which is why it is now a ruin.

went to tintern abbey we didn't do the full chepstow walk but part of the walk we did we

got to see what was full of wildflowers quiet paths and views just like this

here is the old tunnel you walk through to get to tintern part of the old railway line we're

currently walking through the tunnel and we're literally in complete darkness right now i mean

there's besides a few little lamps along along the outside we're in darkness i mean it's freezing in

here i don't really know what i was expecting but um honestly i'm really excited now to get to the

other side and see what it looks like and we're here now at tintern abbey as you can see in the

background behind me and it still remains as one of wales most iconic historical landmarks it's peaceful

and calm and even without the full hike is 100 worth the visit tintern abbey was founded in 1131
