00:00Thanks for joining us Scarlett and Nellie ahead of the Western Victoria Female Football League under-15 grand final.

00:05North Warrnambool taking on Corite. How are your girls feeling?

00:08Pumped.

00:08Yeah, pretty excited. Pretty nervous, but it'll be good. It'll be a very good game.

00:14And it's both your first years in football. How have you found it?

00:17I've really enjoyed it since I've come. Like, I hadn't played footy since grade 6 for fun.

00:23And just once I got here, I just didn't want to go.

00:26What do you want to leave? Same with me. I got recruited and ever since I haven't left.

00:32I love it and I want to stay there forever. It's such a great club.

00:36Can you tell me a bit about the roles you've been playing individually this year?

00:40I've been more of a back, centre-half back player and just keeping it...

00:45I've been told to keep it steady throughout the field and I've done that so well.

00:51And I play a bit of rock and a bit of centre-half forward.

00:54In the rock, it's good. Running around, off to the ball, down and forward, kicking goals.

01:01Down with the teammates. I love the girls I play.

01:04Down forward with. Yeah. And rock's really good too.

01:09Yeah. Get one of the taps.

01:10Yeah.

01:11And who are some of your teammates you think could have a big say in the grand final proceedings this weekend?

01:16Lily Shand.

01:17Yeah. Really, Lily Shand and Zara. They'll just do their thing and work it up.

01:22They're our guns.

01:24Yeah.

01:24We need them on fire so we can all be on fire.

01:27Yeah. And then, just like all the other girls, like Manny, Flick, Alexis, Rose, they just get it in and out and just work their way.

01:37We need everybody to have a good game.

01:39Yeah.

01:39If everyone's got their head in it and they're all locked in, we'll all be ready to fire and guns will be blazing.

01:47Yeah.
