Merrivale's Mia Mills speaks after her side's round 15 Warrnambool and District league netball win against Russells Creek.
Transcript
00:00Mia, great win today. How are you feeling?
00:02Yeah, good, tough hit out, I think, for us.
00:06We have not long left in finals now, so any game where we can get a good, tough opposition
00:11and work on our structure and stuff going into finals is handy for us.
00:16And you got to experiment with a few things today, a few rotations and stuff.
00:19How do you think it went?
00:20A few different combinations, always handy.
00:22I think versatility is a big key for us, and going into finals again, it's crucial
00:28because no matter which team we get each week, we're going to match up differently on them.
00:32So being able to switch positions, change our combinations, and even rest a couple of girls
00:37is really important for me.
00:39And how are you feeling?
00:40I've been told you literally just got back from overseas.
00:43Yeah, yeah, last night.
00:44So, yeah, a bit weary, but good hit out.
00:46Legs were a bit sluggish, so no, looking forward to good sleep tonight
00:52and then hit the game running again for the next few days.
00:54Are you confident in how you guys are tracking ahead of finals?
00:56Yeah, I think so.
00:57I think from right from the get-go, we've kind of had the belief that we can go all the way
01:02and we've kind of proved that we're in the mix.
01:06So if we keep sticking to our structures and, you know, put our trust in cards,
01:10she's a good coach, so she'll make the right decisions come from finals.
01:14Sounds good.
01:14Thanks a lot, Mia.
