Literally just the other day, I was telling people how I thought Gilbert Arenas learned

his lesson and that he wasn't a troublemaker anymore, but guess what?

I was wrong because he was just arrested.

Gilbert Arenas and a quote-unquote crime figure were arrested for running an illegal

high-stakes poker game at one of his homes in California.

Apparently it wasn't at his main residence, but it was at a home that he rented out for

the sole purpose of running this poker game.

He also charged his co-conspirators rent to host games at this home,

so this wasn't just like a poker game with high stakes that happened to be illegal.

This was a full-on operation.

In addition to hosting the games, Arenas and his co-conspirators would hire women to

serve drinks and act as companions for the people playing poker.

This is not one of those women, this is a scene from the movie Molly's Game,

which is pretty much about the same thing.

The women would collect tips from the people playing poker and would have to

give a percentage of those tips to Arenas and the co-conspirators.
