00:32and regularly resurfaces online.

00:34The post states that one of the teenagers

00:36in the photo is von der Leyen

00:38but the modern-day picture below actually shows

00:40former Lithuanian President Dalia Garibaus-Kaite.

00:42Although von der Leyen

00:44was a member of Mrs Merkel's cabinet

00:46she has never led a country contrary to the text

00:48on the photograph. As for the picture itself

00:52Euroverify traced it to an article

00:54was co-published by Time Magazine in 2015.

01:06at a 1972 New Year's Eve party in Berlin.

01:30do not resemble either of the other two

01:34So yes, this is a picture of the former

01:36German Chancellor as a teenager

01:38but the other two world leaders mentioned

01:40in the text cannot be seen in it.
