01:03Matches take place in an arena called The Park.
01:06This is where friends and competitors from around the world gather.
01:11Here, players can form teams and join three-on-three matches.
01:17Whichever team scores the most points in three minutes wins.
01:21Sink a shot to score two points.
01:27Or get one from outside the line for three.
01:30Be sure to keep the ball in play, though.
01:38If one team holds it for more than 14 seconds, they'll lose possession.
01:43That means even if your team is leading, you might not run away with the win.
01:48Here are some tips to help you succeed in your matches.
01:54For a better chance at scoring, get close to the hoop.
01:59Line yourself up as best you can.
02:01Then hold your position and shoot.
02:03During practice, you can see how successful your shot will be.
02:14So master your technique before jumping into real matches.
02:17You can also gently shake your Joy-Con 2 controllers to wave your hands.
02:27Use this to signal that you're open.
02:30Or cheer your teammates on by clapping or high-fiving.
02:34On defense, slam into your opponent head-on to knock the ball free.
02:42Reading your opponent's moves to get in the right position is key.
02:47You can also raise your hands to try blocking your opponent's shot.
02:53Or slam into them to throw them off their game.
02:56There are three types of drivers to play as.
03:06Guards are agile and quickly pick up speed.
03:11Centers are tougher and have more height.
03:15And forwards are balanced all-arounders.
03:20Choose the driver that fits the way you play.
03:22And customize their style, including colors, textures, and player numbers.
03:36You'll notice half-pipes around the court.
03:41Build momentum.
03:43Then hit the ramp to gain air.
03:46Take advantage of ramps to dunk.
03:49By sliding the Joy-Con 2 forward and back, your driver can spin in the air.
04:00Additional points are awarded if you land a trick shot.
04:06The more difficult the trick, the more points you'll earn.
04:10If you lift one Joy-Con 2 while braking, you can pull off a tilt.
04:20This lets you reach higher, so you can better block an opponent's shot.
04:27Or avoid someone trying to block yours.
04:29While starting a tilt, quickly lift the other Joy-Con 2 controller to bunny hop.
04:39Bunny hops can earn you more points when scoring.
04:43Or use them to block your opponent.
04:48Bunny hop at just the right time when exiting a half-pipe to execute a backflip.
04:54Master the technique, then nail it during a match.
05:06Let's talk about parks.
05:11Public Park is where up to 12 players gather.
05:14And matches start automatically once enough players have joined.
05:20There's room for two matches at the same time, so everyone can play.
05:25Team members are chosen at random.
05:27But you can opt out of playing if there's an odd number of drivers.
05:31Move over to Friend Park to play with your pals.
05:34You can also share a park ID with people not on your friend list.
05:49And with Game Chat, you can talk to your friends while playing.
05:58There are also mini-games to play between matches.
06:02Navigate obstacles and speed toward the goal in Circuit Sprint.
06:12Or be the first to gain possession of the falling ball in Rebound Scramble.
06:19Test your mettle with even more challenges on the park's outer rim.
06:24Like a game where you try to score as many points as possible within the time limit.
06:32Your participation preferences for matches and mini-games can be changed at any time while in the park.
06:40There's plenty of room here to spectate or get some practice in.
06:45Or play matches offline against CPU players.
06:52There are nine difficulty levels, so this is a great way to train up.
06:57The latest in three-on-three sports is on the way.
07:21A global jam online demo will be available soon, so you can experience the excitement ahead of the game's launch.
07:39Players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership can participate at the dates and times shown here.
07:45The demo will be available to pre-order later today on Nintendo eShop.
