00:22:33The second-generation wrestler, he was going to be there to back up everyone associated with WCW
00:22:37until, obviously, he stabbed the macho man Randy Savage in the back.

00:22:44Now I'm going to show you some of the footage.
00:22:46We saw, once again, from this past Wednesday on Thunder, the injury to Buff Bagwell.
00:22:50Here's the update that we have.
00:22:51Now, once again, you need to take a very close look at this
00:22:53because, certainly, these young men come out each and every night and put their lives on the line.
00:22:59And Buff Bagwell, when he hit at that time, could not move.
00:23:02Basically, he was paralyzed at that time.
00:23:04He underwent surgery this evening in Atlanta, Georgia, neck surgery.
00:23:09And we do not have an update on his condition out of the surgery.
00:23:13Do you understand he pulled okay through the surgery?
00:23:16We do understand, though, that tomorrow night, when we take there in a special edition of WCW Monday Nitro
00:23:21at 6 p.m. Eastern Time right here on TNT, that will have an update on his condition.
00:23:26And at Brain, we both have had neck surgeries.
00:23:28That was a scary thing to happen to Buff Bagwell.
00:23:30And even though he's a member of the NWO, our thoughts and our prayers are with him and his family.
00:23:34Well, it's hard to imagine what he went through.
00:23:36I know the surgery I went through and you went through and the pain we had, but we had no paralysis.
00:23:41We didn't think we were going to lose our use of our legs or our arms or anything like that.
00:23:47I don't know what could be going through that young man's mind right now.
00:23:49It's got to be sure terror.
00:23:50Well, to be very honest with you, we had been told during the course of the program on Wednesday
00:23:55that Buff Bagwell could not move.
00:23:58He could not move his legs.
00:23:59But I didn't want to bring that to you, the fans, nor to his family, watching our program
00:24:02until we had a further update.
00:24:04But the good news was that during the course of the evening after the injury,
00:24:08he started to get some movement back and he started to move and he was okay.
00:24:11But obviously, a severe neck injury to Buff Bagwell.
00:24:14He had surgery today in Atlanta.
00:24:16And we'll have an update on the condition of Buff Bagwell post-surgery tomorrow night,
00:24:21beginning at 6 o'clock right here on WCW Monday Nitro.
00:24:25Take a special look at a very angry macho man, Randy Savage, from last week.
