He called Epstein “persona non grata” after Epstein ignored warnings not to hire his employees. Speaking in Scotland, Trump described their falling-out as “old history” and said he cut off all contact after the hiring incident, offering no further details. The renewed scrutiny of their relationship follows Attorney General Pam Bondi’s reversal on releasing investigative records about Epstein. Trump’s comments come weeks after Virginia Giuffre, who said she was recruited at Mar-a-Lago as a teen and abused by Epstein, died by suicide. Trump and Epstein were longtime friends, but they reportedly fell out years before Epstein's 2008 guilty plea for soliciting a minor. A White House spokesman said last week that Trump expelled Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for “being a creep.”
