00:00My reaction was just shock, excitement for them to bring it home back to back is incredible.
00:08Such a buzz here today seeing all the young kids and families, the little boys and girls,
00:12like everyone out here supporting the Lionesses.
00:15I had a minute of just pausing and just looking at the vast amount of people watching the game
00:19and yeah it's just like motivational and it was amazing to watch and yeah it was really emotional.
00:25Well it feels great because I think they're the first ever English team to retain a title
00:30and that means that we're creating history here.
00:33I mean it was just insane like I don't think anyone believed it, they'd been like so close to the court
00:37again and again and like we just got through it and yeah insane.
00:42It was nice to see the crowd, everyone supporting women for a change and yeah it was really positive.
00:46Yeah I think compared to Larky Rose, there was Keevan, everyone's supporting it now and like it means so much
00:51it's been inspiring many like young girls, like if maybe that was us when we were younger.
00:55It's just brought so much, I can't even like bring into words like how much they've done.
01:02I'm starting to like get my niece, like I've been kicking ball with her and stuff and she's only two but she's got a good leg,
01:10she's got a good pass so I'll give me that yeah.
01:12It does feel significant, I think that obviously what happened in 2022 was huge and there were so many drastic changes
01:20about the women's football landscape in the UK so I'm curious to see what that will look like now.
01:27I'm hoping that the WSL maybe gets VAR, gets better streaming on all platforms and is very easy to access
01:35and hopefully pubs will be more willing to stream women's football across the UK.
01:40There still could be definitely more resources pumped out there, I think the WSL, I think that the men's teams
01:47in the Premier League, honestly they have a responsibility to fund some of their money into the women's teams.
01:52I started around four years old, played sort of semi-pro level and then I think I remember literally having to pay our way to play.
01:59And this is just like amazing and the level that you see right now is like the best it's ever been at.
02:05And I think it just shows you the importance of getting money in, grassroots level as well, that's massive.
02:11We play for the England women's hockey team heading out to our Europeans tomorrow in Germany.
02:16Yeah, we hopefully can follow in their footsteps, in the Linus' footsteps.
