00:00You're a big investor in this area, Mr. President.
00:03Say it?
00:04You're a big investor in this area.
00:05To put it mildly, like this ballroom that we built from scratch.
00:10Do you worry, though, about the risk of increased taxes here?
00:14Will that stop the investing?
00:15And do you have a message last time on the soccer to the English lionesses who won the European trade?
00:21So I think that I have a theory that low taxes bring growth.
00:27We just passed a big tax cut bill, the biggest bill in the history of our country, actually.
00:32And one big, beautiful bill.
00:34I used to call it the great one big, beautiful.
00:36We took the word great out.
00:37But it's actually called the one big, beautiful bill.
00:40It's it's essentially a very large tax cut bill for everybody.
00:45And our country's pretty soon.
00:48I think I can say I think I can say it right now.
00:50Our country has never done better.
00:52We had a country that was dead.
00:54It was dead six months ago, a year ago.
00:58Leaders from NATO, when I we had a very successful meeting at NATO, your prime minister was there.
01:03It was an unbelievable love fest with all of those countries.
01:06And they agreed to go five percent and all the things.
01:10Very smart to do.
01:12But many of the leaders said, you know, essentially, they said, your country is dead one year ago.
01:19One year ago, we had a dead and we did.
01:21We had a dead country.
01:22We had a president who didn't know where the hell he was.
01:25We had horrible, horrible people running our country.
01:30I think they were sick people, actually sick.
01:33You talk about censorship.
01:35That's those are big.
01:36That's all they did was censor.
01:38And they didn't know what to do.
01:39And they had high taxes.
01:41They wanted more tax, total censorship, transgender for everybody, men playing in women's sports, everything bad they wanted.
01:49And they still do.
01:50That's what they still do.
01:51That's why they're down at 15 percent or something.
01:54I saw it today.
01:54The lowest that the other part of the Democrats have ever been.
01:58But, no, I think I find that when you lower taxes, you get growth.
02:02I will say this area and the prime minister hasn't been here very long on affairs.
02:07I think he'll he'll be a tax cutter.
02:10But I find that as we cut taxes, we did more business.
02:14You know, in my first tax bill, we cut taxes from 39 percent down to 22 percent.
02:20And we ended up at the end of the first year, the first year when it was still a little raw, we ended up taking in much more revenue than we did at 39 percent.
02:30It was pretty amazing.
02:31And we're taking in a lot of revenue right now.
02:34And this was an additional tax cut.
02:37So I find for whatever it's worth, tax cuts are very good.
