00:00The University of the Philippines, or UP, Fighting Maroons made history as the first-ever team to three-peak in the PhilOil EcoOil Preseason Cup Championship.

00:09The Fighting Maroons defeated the National University Bulldogs in the finals held at the PhilOil Center in San Juan 79-65.

00:16Jerry Abadiano recorded 13 points and earned finals and VP honors.

00:21While best defensive player Francis Noruca contributed with a double-double of 15 markers and 12 boards.

00:28With the UP's three consecutive titles, the team received the prestigious ECJ Perpetual Trophy.
