00:00I'm Alison Campsey, I'm from the Scotsman and I'm here in Balmedie.
00:05There's an anti-Trump protest gathering here and I'd say there's probably about 100 folk here at the moment
00:11and more people seem to be arriving.
00:14Like Saturday's protest, there's a wide range of placards and signs, some language to choice to discuss here.
00:22But people feeling very motivated to attend this protest and to send a message to Trump
00:29that they are not happy with his policies, particularly on Gaza, on Ukraine.
00:36I spoke to a woman who's travelled from Hertfordshire in England who is Mexican-American
00:40and she came simply because she is so worried about the rights of her friends and family in the US.
00:47And this woman has travelled from the south-east of England to be here
00:49and she says she'll be in Scotland for as long as Trump is.
00:53There's obviously heavy security here at the moment.
00:56Walk down to Balmedie Beach, now you can get down so far.
01:01It's a very, very popular spot for families and dog walkers.
01:06The road is closed off to cars, but public access is allowed.
01:10There's police officers dotted through the sand dunes, there's police horses on the beach.
01:14Very little activity on the beach apart from the odd family on a day out,
01:21but very, very strict controls on where you can go.
01:25Access on Balmedie Beach is blocked off to the north and that leads past many estates where the golf course is.
01:34And as I understand it, this protest is just a way to head off and try and get to the beats of Trump International.
