00:00You've been praying, you've been fasting, you've been waiting.
00:03And somewhere in the back of your mind, the enemy is whispering.
00:07If God was going to do it, he would have done it by now.
00:10But I came to tell somebody today, just because it's delayed doesn't mean it's denied.
00:16Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't.
00:20God is not ignoring you.
00:21God is not overlooking you.
00:23God is preparing something that requires perfect timing.
00:27See, if he gave it to you too soon, you wouldn't be ready for it.
00:31If he opened the door before the foundation was set, the blessing would crush you instead of carry you.
00:37If he let you skip the process, you'll miss the character that comes from the pressure.
00:42Let me remind you of something.
00:44God is not working on your story.
00:46And his timing isn't about when you want it.
00:49It's about who he's shaping you into in the wait.
00:52Moses had a calling at 40, but he didn't walk in it until he was 80.
00:58David was anointed as king as a teenager, but he spent years running from Saul before he ever touched the throne.
01:05Jesus, the son of God, waited 30 years before doing his first miracle.
01:11Delay does not mean denial.
01:13It means development.
01:14Because here's what happens in the delay.
01:17You learn to trust him, not just thank him.
01:18You learn to walk by faith, not just live by results.
01:22You learn that God is enough, even when the door stays closed.
01:26And when you come out on the other side, you're not just walking in the promise.
01:30You're walking in power.
01:32See, some of us are trying to microwave what God intended to slow cook.
01:36We want the blessing without the breaking.
01:39We want the fruit without the pruning.
01:41But God is too wise to give you something that will destroy you.
01:46And he loves you too much to promote you into a place your maturity can't sustain.
01:50So stop interpreting the silence as rejection.
01:54Stop thinking that unanswered prayer means forgotten purpose.
01:56Sometimes the silence is God's signature.
02:00Sometimes the no is a setup for a bigger yes.
02:03You thought he closed that door to punish you, but it was to protect you.
02:07You thought he was taking something away from you, but he was making room for something greater.
02:13You thought you missed your moment, but God doesn't run out of miracles.
02:17If it's God's will and it's God's word, then it's still coming, just not on your watch.
02:23Because he's not just lining up the blessing for you, he's lining you up for the blessing.
02:28He's putting you in the right mindset, the right heart posture.
02:33So when the door opens, you don't walk through it insecure.
02:36You walk through it ready.
02:38You're not late.
02:39You're not overlooked.
02:40You're not forgotten.
02:41You're right on schedule for a God who doesn't need a clock.
02:44So keep praying.
02:45Keep praising, keep planting seeds in the dirt when it looks dry.
02:50Because delay is not denial.
02:52It's divine preparation.
02:54And when he says it's time, no devil in hell can stop it.
02:57God's timing is not just good, it's perfect.
03:00When that moment comes, you won't just be grateful for what God did.
03:04You'll be grateful for when he did it.
03:07Because in hindsight, you'll see the wait was part of the miracle.
03:11There's a lie the enemy loves to whisper in your weakest moments.
03:15If God really loved you, he would have shown up by now.
03:19But what if I told you the delay you're experiencing isn't evidence of God's rejection.
03:24It's proof of his redirection.
03:27Because God isn't just concerned with getting you to your destination.
03:31He's also deeply invested in how you get there.
03:33Sometimes the delay is what saves you from stepping into something prematurely.
03:40We think if something doesn't happen right when we want it to, it must mean God said no.
03:45But often he's not saying a no.
03:47He's saying it not this way.
03:48Not through that person.
03:50Not on that place.
03:51Not on that path.
03:52Because if he let you walk through that door, he would have led you somewhere your heart wasn't ready to survive.
03:59He would have called it a blessing, but he saw the trap behind it.
04:02You would have thanked him on the surface, but been broken by what was waiting on the other side.
04:07So, he redirected you.
04:10Think about Jonah.
04:11He was running from the assignment God gave him, trying to chart his own path.
04:16But even in Jonah's rebellion, God rerouted him.
04:19Not with rejection, but with redirection.
04:22He sent a storm not to sink him.
04:25He sent a fish not to punish him, but to position him.
04:29That delay inside the belly wasn't the end of Jonah's purpose.
04:33It was the place God used to realign him with it.
04:36You might be in a season where the people around you are moving ahead, getting opportunities, launching businesses, starting families, receiving promotions, and you're left wondering, God, what about me?
04:50But you don't know what they had to compromise to get there.
04:53You don't know what they're carrying in private just to keep up that image in public.
04:59You don't know what battles they're fighting in silence just to maintain what they received too soon.
05:04And here you are, frustrated with your delay, when really it's God preserving you, developing you, redirecting you, so that when it's your turn, you'll be ready.
05:15God doesn't just see where you are.
05:16He sees where that path will take you.
05:18So sometimes he shuts a door, not to punish you, but to pivot you.
05:23He removes the person, not because you weren't worthy of love, but because they couldn't walk with you to the next level.
05:30He allows the opportunity to fall through, not because you didn't qualify, but because he's got something better positioned at the right place, at the right time, with the right people.
05:40We confuse rejection with failure, but God uses it as a filter.
05:44He's filtering out distractions, filtering out false attachments, filtering out counterfeit connections that look good on the outside, but are hollow on the inside.
05:56It's not that you're being rejected.
05:58You're being protected.
06:00There's a difference.
06:01And if you can shift your perspective from a why not me, to a thank you, God, you'll realize that what didn't happen for you was never meant to hurt you.
06:10It was meant to reroute you.
06:12Have you ever prayed for something, begged God for it, fasted, cried, believed with all your heart, and then nothing.
06:19And you thought maybe God ignored you.
06:21Maybe you weren't spiritual enough.
06:24Maybe you messed up one too many times.
06:26But what if the delay was the answer in disguise?
06:28What if God was saying, I heard you, but I love you too much to give you what you're asking for?
06:34Because what I've got planned is far greater.
06:37We think direction only comes through clarity, but sometimes it comes through closed doors, through silence, through delays, through moments where God lets things fall apart.
06:49Not because he's absent, but because he's orchestrating something better behind the scenes.
06:54He's shifting relationships, aligning people, moving situations like pieces on a chessboard, so that when he says a go, it's a checkmate move the enemy can't undo.
07:05But that redirection will almost always look like rejection at first, because it's painful to let go.
07:12It's uncomfortable to wait.
07:13It's frustrating to not have answers, but this is where trust is built.
07:19Not when everything is going your way, but when nothing seems to be moving and you still choose to believe he's good.
07:25When you don't get the job and you still say he's faithful.
07:28When the relationship ends and you still say he's enough.
07:33When the door closes and you still praise like it's opening tomorrow.
07:37The Israelites were delayed in the wilderness, not because God rejected them, but because he was teaching them how to walk by faith.
07:45He was showing them how to depend on him day by day, step by step.
07:50Manna didn't fall all at once.
07:51It came daily, one portion at a time.
07:54And that's how he leads through daily bread, not instant breakthroughs, because he knows that when you learn to trust his provision in the delay, you'll know how to steward his promise in the future.
08:06And let's be honest.
08:07If some of us got what we prayed for back then, we would have ruined it.
08:12We weren't ready.
08:13We didn't have the maturity, the humility, the spiritual discipline.
08:17But thank God for the detours.
08:19Thank God for the nose that led to the right.
08:21Yes.
08:22Thank God for the heartbreak that birthed healing.
08:26Thank God for the moments he redirected us.
08:30Because what he was really doing was protecting the version of us we hadn't met yet.
08:34He's not punishing you with this pause.
08:36He's preparing you, redirecting you.
08:39Transforming you in the process so that what he brings you into doesn't just bless you.
08:44It keeps you.
08:45So don't despise the delay.
08:47Don't mislabel it as rejection.
08:49You're not being denied.
08:51You're being refined.
08:52And when he's finished rerouting you, you'll step into what was always yours with strength,
08:56with clarity, and with the wisdom that only comes from the wait.
09:00It's hard when heaven goes quiet, when you pray with everything in you, but all you get in return is silence.
09:08When you open your Bible expecting a word and it feels like the page is blank.
09:12When you show up to church, raise your hand, sing the songs, and still walk out feeling like God stayed behind.
09:18That kind of silence can shake you.
09:21It can make you wonder if God left, if he's angry, if he's ignoring you.
09:25But here's the truth.
09:27God's silence doesn't mean his absence.
09:30It often signals your preparation.
09:33Silence in the spiritual realm isn't empty.
09:35It's not abandonment.
09:37It's not neglect.
09:37It's the quiet hum of a God working behind the curtain, preparing you for something your current level of faith can't yet handle.
09:47Just because you can't hear him doesn't mean he's not speaking.
09:50Just because you can't feel him doesn't mean he's not moving.
09:54Silence doesn't mean God is gone.
09:56It means God is getting something ready.
09:58When you're building something big, the foundation has to go deep.
10:02The higher the calling, the deeper the preparation.
10:05But the thing about foundations is they're built in silence.
10:08You don't see them.
10:10You don't celebrate them.
10:11You don't post about them.
10:12They happen beneath the surface quietly, deliberately.
10:16So if it feels like God is silent in your life, maybe it's because he's building something underneath that's going to support the weight of your future.
10:24We want God to speak loud and clear.
10:27We want burning bushes.
10:29We want parted seas.
10:30We want angelic visitations.
10:33But more often he chooses whispers.
10:36He chooses stillness.
10:37Not to frustrate us, but to form us.
10:40Because in the silence our ears get sharper.
10:43Our dependency gets deeper.
10:44Our motives get purified.
10:47This is not a punishment.
10:48It's a process.
10:50Think about Jesus.
10:51Before he ever healed a leper, before he ever preached a sermon, before he ever walked on water, he spent 30 years in silence.
11:0030 years with no miracles, no crowds, no platform.
11:0430 years of being a carpenter in Nazareth, hidden, ordinary, unnoticed.
11:08But that silence was not wasted.
11:11It was preparation.
11:13It was shaping his identity.
11:15It was rooting his obedience.
11:16It was teaching him the rhythms of surrender so that when the spotlight came, he wouldn't fold under pressure.
11:23Sometimes God's greatest work happens in the quietest moments.
11:27Not in the noise of breakthrough, but in the discipline of the in-between.
11:32You think he's not doing anything, but he's refining your character.
11:36You think he's holding back, but he's holding you steady.
11:38You think he's silent because he's done, but really he's silent because you're not done yet.
11:45There are some things you can only learn when the volume is turned down.
11:49You don't grow when everything's loud.
11:51You grow in the quiet.
11:53In the places where it's just you and God in the sound of your own surrender, you learn how to worship not for what he's doing, but for who he is.
12:02You learn how to trust, not because of what you feel, but because of what he said.
12:07And you learn how to stand not on emotion, but on foundation.
12:12We want quick confirmation, but God is more interested in transformation.
12:16And transformation takes time.
12:18It takes silence.
12:20It takes stillness.
12:22That's why Isaiah said, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
12:26Not they that rush.
12:27Not they that panic.
12:28Not they that try to force the outcome.
12:30But they that wait and is not passive.
12:34It's preparation in disguise.
12:37You might be in a season where nothing seems to be changing on the outside, but everything is shifting on the inside.
12:43You're being stripped of pride.
12:44You're being emptied of ego.
12:47You're being reminded that success in the kingdom isn't about spotlight.
12:51It's about obedience.
12:53And that kind of depth only comes through silence.
12:56God's silence is also his strategy.
12:58Because if he told you everything too soon, you'd try to control the outcome.
13:03If he revealed the full picture, you'd run ahead of him.
13:06But he knows the pace you can handle.
13:08He knows the battles you're not ready to fight yet.
13:12So sometimes he waits.
13:14Not because he's distant, but because he's deliberate.
13:17There's something powerful that happens when you worship a God you can't hear.
13:22When you lift your hands, not because you feel him, but because you trust him.
13:26When you show up, not because everything is perfect, but because your faith isn't based on feelings.
13:32It's rooted in truth.
13:34That's where spiritual maturity is forged.
13:37Not in the shout, but in the stillness.
13:39Look at Elijah.
13:41After calling down fire from heaven, he found himself running, hiding, exhausted, waiting for God to speak.
13:48And God didn't come in the wind.
13:50He didn't come in the earthquake.
13:51He didn't come in the fire.
13:52He came in a whisper because God's voice isn't always loud, but it's always present.
13:58And when you lean into the whisper, you find what can't be shaken.
14:03You find strength that doesn't come from noise.
14:06So maybe you've been measuring God's faithfulness by how loud he speaks,
14:10but he wants to show you how close he really is when he doesn't say anything at all.
14:16Maybe he's training you to tune out the chaos and tune into his character.
14:20Because sometimes the quietest seasons carry the greatest breakthroughs.
14:26The silence is not a void.
14:28It's a veil.
14:30And just because you can't see through it doesn't mean he's not working beyond it.
14:33He's aligning your next step.
14:35He's orchestrating divine appointments.
14:38He's moving pieces in places you haven't even entered yet.
14:41You just don't hear it because he's preparing it in a realm your ears can't access yet.
14:47Don't let the silence scare you.
14:49Let it shape you.
14:50Because when the preparation is complete and the timing is right,
14:54he will speak.
14:56He will move.
14:57He will open the door.
14:58But until then, trust that even in the silence, he's still God.
15:03There's a reason God doesn't always give you what you want the moment you ask for it.
15:07There's a reason certain doors stay closed longer than you expected.
15:12It's not because you're unworthy.
15:14It's not because you've been overlooked.
15:16It's because what you're praying for doesn't just require faith.
15:20It requires maturity.
15:21And sometimes your impatience is the very thing blocking what God has already appointed.
15:26Because there are blessings you can believe for but not yet care.
15:30There are places you're called to go that you're not yet ready to walk in.
15:34And if God gave it to you too early, it wouldn't be a gift.
15:38It would be a weight that crushes you.
15:39Impatience is more than just frustration with timing.
15:43It's a test of trust.
15:45It's a moment where you have to choose between pushing your own plan or surrendering to God's process.
15:50We live in a culture that celebrates speed, fast results, fast growth, fast gratification.
15:56But God works on a different system.
15:58He's not moved by how fast you want it.
16:01He's moved by how deep your roots are.
16:04Because surface success means nothing if you don't have the spiritual maturity to maintain it when storms come.
16:10You might be praying for a platform, but God is preparing your character.
16:15You might be dreaming of promotion, but God is strengthening your discipline.
16:20You might be asking for influence, but God is anchoring your integrity.
16:25And if you try to skip that process out of impatience, you'll end up sabotaging the very thing he's trying to sustain through you.
16:33A position without preparation leads to pressure you're not equipped to carry.
16:38Look at the story of the prodigal son.
16:40He asked for his inheritance early, not because he wasn't promised it, but because he wasn't patient enough to wait.
16:47And what happened?
16:48He wasted what was his because he didn't have the maturity to manage it.
16:52The blessing wasn't the problem.
16:54His timing was.
16:56And many of us are in that same place.
16:58We're so focused on getting the promise.
17:00We don't realize we're not ready to steward it yet.
17:03You see, maturity isn't proven by what you hope for.
17:07It's proven by what you can wait for.
17:10Anybody can dream big.
17:11Anybody can say, God, I want more.
17:14But can you stay still when he says not yet?
17:16Can you serve faithfully when nobody's clapping?
17:19Can you obey consistently when nothing seems to be changing?
17:22That's maturity.
17:24And that's what holds the blessing in place when the pressure increases.
17:28Because here's the truth.
17:30Every answered prayer comes with responsibility.
17:34Every elevation brings exposure.
17:37Every open door invites new levels of opposition.
17:40And if your roots haven't gone deep the moment the wind hits, you'll fall.
17:43That's why God takes time.
17:44Not because he's stalling, but because he's strengthening.
17:49He's not slow.
17:50He's strategic.
17:51We often see someone else step into a season we've been praying for and think, why not me?
17:57But what you don't see is the cost behind their yes.
18:00You don't see the late nights.
18:01The battles.
18:02The private tears.
18:03The years of preparation.
18:05And if you're not careful, impatience will cause you to copy someone else's journey rather than trust God's timing for your own.
18:13You'll try to grab something that looks good but wasn't built for your hands.
18:17There's a reason God waited to send David to the throne.
18:21Even after he anointed him.
18:24There's a reason Joseph had dreams of leadership but ended up in a prison before he ever stepped into a palace.
18:31There's a reason Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before his ministry ever began.
18:36Because preparation doesn't happen in the spotlight.
18:39It happens in the shadows.
18:41And that preparation requires time.
18:43When you rush something God intended to mature, you run the risk of birthing something premature.
18:49And premature birth always requires intensive care.
18:52It might be alive, but it's fragile.
18:55It might be visible, but it's vulnerable.
18:58That relationship you forced, it needs constant fixing.
19:02That position you manipulated your way into, it's wearing you out.
19:06That opportunity you begged for, it's breaking you more than it's building you.
19:10Because you got what you wanted.
19:12But skip what you needed.
19:14You missed the maturity.
19:16Impatience can make you settle for good when God was preparing great.
19:20It can convince you to say yes to things that look right but aren't God's best.
19:24It can push you to move ahead of God and end up behind in peace.
19:28I caught the Buddhism.
19:30Because nothing outside of his timing brings rest.
19:33It brings striving.
19:35It brings insecurity.
19:36It brings pressure that maturity would have carried with grace.
19:40So what do you do while you wait?
19:42You grow.
19:43You train.
19:44You submit.
19:44You develop disciplines that match the size of your destiny.
19:47You prepare like it's already coming.
19:50But you wait like it's all in God's hands.
19:52You don't just chase the promise.
19:55You become the person who can protect it when it arrives.
19:58Waiting isn't weakness.
20:00It's wisdom.
20:01It's knowing that you don't want what you can't yet manage.
20:05It's trusting that God's delay isn't rejection.
20:08It's refinement.
20:09It's understanding that patience isn't passive.
20:12It's powerful.
20:13It's the space where your faith matures and your flesh gets crucified.
20:18The enemy would love to get you so impatient that you sabotage your own story.
20:21He wants you to forfeit your future for temporary relief.
20:26He wants you to give up five minutes before your breakthrough.
20:30He wants you to get tired of the wait and settle for something that looks like the promise but lacks the oil.
20:35But if you can hold on, if you can resist the urge to rush, if you can choose patience over pressure, you'll see that what God has for you is not only worth the wait, it needs the wait.
20:47Because the truth is, the blessing was never the question.
20:51God always had it ready.
20:52The only question was, can you handle it when it comes?
20:56And the answer to that is found not in your patience, not in your hunger, but in your humility.
21:02Because only maturity can carry what impatience will always crush.
21:06God's timing will never bow to human pressure.
21:10It doesn't adjust itself to your panic, your deadlines, or your expectations.
21:16His timing is tied to purpose, not pressure.
21:20And when you begin to understand that, you stop trying to manipulate seasons and start learning how to master surrender.
21:25Because pressure says a hurry, but purpose says a wait.
21:30Pressure says a perform, but purpose says a prepare.
21:34Pressure says a prove something, but purpose says a become someone.
21:38God is not in a rush to get you where you want to go.
21:40He's invested in building who you need to be when you get there.
21:45If he moved according to pressure, you'd receive things out of sync with your growth.
21:49If he moved according to pressure, your emotions would run the show and your spirit would stay weak.
21:54But God refuses to cater to pressure.
21:56He's not moved by the clock you created.
22:00He's not anxious about the calendar you keep checking.
22:03He's working according to a divine schedule that doesn't just deliver the outcome.
22:08It builds the character.
22:10Pressure says everyone else is ahead of me.
22:13But purpose says a right on time for what God's called you to.
22:17Pressure says you need to make something happen.
22:20But purpose says stay faithful and let God open the door.
22:24There's a difference between striving in your own strength and stepping into something that's been ordained.
22:30And that difference shows up in your peace.
22:32Because when it's God's timing, you don't have to force it.
22:36You don't have to beg for it.
22:37You don't have to manipulate people or chase validation.
22:40When it's his time, the door opens, the weight lifts, and you walk into it knowing you were made for it.
22:48Some of us are so controlled by pressure that we end up outside of purpose.
22:53We say yes to things that don't align with our calling because we're tired of waiting.
22:58We connect with people who can't carry our future because we're desperate for comfort in the present.
23:04We accept jobs, relationships, opportunities, not because God said move,
23:10but because we couldn't stand the silence anymore.
23:13And the problem with letting pressure lead is that it will always prioritize temporary relief over long-term purpose.
23:21Look at Abraham and Sarah.
23:22God gave them a promise, a child.
23:24But pressure started whispering when the wait got long.
23:28Pressure told them, oh, this isn't working.
23:31Pressure said, you've got to do something about it.
23:34So they did.
23:35They brought Hagar into the situation and tried to fulfill God's promise through human intervention.
23:41The result, conflict, division.
23:44Delay because pressure births complications, but purpose births peace.
23:49God's not going to speed up your promise just to soothe your impatience.
23:53He's not going to shift his process just to make you feel better.
23:56He's too wise for that.
23:58Too sovereign.
23:59Too faithful.
24:00His plan is perfect and his purpose is secure.
24:04And if it takes longer than you expected, it's not because he's forgotten.
24:07It's because he's aligning every detail for maximum impact.
24:12Timing matters to God because timing protects.
24:14There are people he hasn't sent yet because they aren't mature enough to support your calling.
24:19There are doors he hasn't opened yet because what's on the other side requires a version of you that hasn't been fully formed.
24:27There are places he hasn't taken you because the influence would overwhelm you before it equipped you.
24:33So while you're asking a win, God is asking, will you trust me?
24:37Pressure is loud, but purpose is steady.
24:39And if you tune your heart to the right frequency, you'll begin to hear the rhythm of grace instead of the noise of fear.
24:48You'll realize that it's okay if you're not where you thought you'd be by now.
24:52It's okay if you're still in the preparation season.
24:54It's okay if you're hidden quiet behind the scenes because God does his best work in the places no one sees.
25:01That's where roots grow.
25:03That's where strength is forged.
25:05That's where purpose takes shape.
25:07And when you stop trying to speed it up, you'll start to see the beauty and the weight.
25:11You'll notice that things are happening inside of you that you never saw before.
25:16You're becoming patient, resilient, discerning.
25:19You're learning how to hear God in the stillness.
25:22You're learning how to obey when it's not exciting.
25:25That's purpose being developed, not delayed.
25:27Jesus didn't start his public ministry at 18.
25:30He waited until he was 30.
25:32And in that culture, 30 was the age of maturity, the age of full authority.
25:38It wasn't about pressure.
25:39It was about timing.
25:41It was about walking in alignment with what heaven had ordained, not what people expected.
25:46Even when Mary tried to pressure him at the wedding in Cana saying,
25:50They have no wine.
25:52Jesus responded,
25:53My hour has not yet come.
25:55Because even Jesus in all his divinity refused to move outside of divine timing.
26:00So if the Son of God wasn't rushed by pressure, why should you be?
26:04Why should you let deadlines, expectations, comparisons, or fear pull you out of alignment
26:10with what God is building in you?
26:12Don't let Instagram posts and highlight reels become the metric for your progress.
26:17Don't let the opinions of people who don't know your calling make you question your assignment.
26:23They see the outside.
26:24You and God are working on the inside.
26:27And when the time is right, what's been hidden will be revealed.
26:31God's not late.
26:32He's not stuck.
26:34He's not waiting on a better version of you to show up.
26:36He's waiting for the perfect collision of his will, your obedience, and the needs of the world around you.
26:42When purpose and timing intersect, that's when destiny is released.
26:47And when it happens, it won't be because you forced it.
26:49It'll be because you trusted, waited, and walked in step with the one who never wastes a moment.
26:55Waiting is never easy.
26:57It tests your patience, stretches your trust, and exposes the parts of your heart that still want control.
27:03But the wait is not wasted.
27:05God never wastes time.
27:06He redeems it.
27:08He uses it.
27:09He fills it with unseen work that shapes who you're becoming while you're focused on what you're waiting for.
27:15You may feel like nothing's moving, like nothing's shifting, like your prayers are hanging unanswered in the air.
27:22But there's more happening in the wait than you can possibly imagine.
27:26Faith doesn't grow in the results.
27:27It grows in the uncertainty.
27:29It's in the gap between the promise and the fulfillment where your faith is refined.
27:33That's faith, the middle, the tension between a God said and a God did.
27:39That's the training ground.
27:40That's where roots go deep.
27:42That's where trust matures from a shallow feeling into an unshakable conviction.
27:47Because anyone can praise when the answer shows up, but it takes real faith to worship while it's still silent.
27:54It takes real faith to keep showing up.
27:56Keep praying.
27:57Keep believing when there's no sign on the surface that anything's changing.
28:01The wait is not a punishment.
28:03It's a process.
28:05God isn't holding out on you.
28:06He's holding you together.
28:08He's using this time to dig down beneath the surface, beneath the performance, beneath the image, and work on the unseen places.
28:16He's working in the soil of your soul, removing pride, refining motives, building endurance.
28:21Because what you're waiting for is not just about what's coming.
28:25It's about who you're becoming.
28:28There are some lessons you only learn in the wait.
28:31You learn how to be faithful when it's not fun.
28:33You learn how to pray when you're not getting instant results.
28:37You learn how to trust God's heart even when his hand seems still.
28:41And you realize that maturity isn't getting what you want when you want it.
28:46It's learning how to keep trusting when you don't.
28:49The wait is a spiritual classroom.
28:52It's where God teaches you things that no sermon, no book, no podcast ever could.
28:57It's where you develop spiritual muscles, patience, perseverance, surrender.
29:02Not just to endure delay, but to endure it with grace.
29:05To carry the weight of hope without letting disappointment break you.
29:10Because there's a kind of strength that only grows when you're forced to wait and still believe.
29:15Waiting reveals your foundation.
29:17It shows you what you've really built your faith on.
29:20Is it built on outcomes or on obedience?
29:22Is it built on comfort or on covenant?
29:25Because when the waiting drags on and the feelings fade, you're left with what's real.
29:30And that's when you discover that faith isn't a feeling.
29:33It's a fight.
29:34It's the decision to believe God's word over what your eyes can see.
29:38God is not slow like we define slowness.
29:41He's intentional.
29:42He's exact.
29:42And while you're wondering why it's taking so long, he's building what can't be rushed.
29:47You're waiting for the blessing, but he's building the foundation.
29:51You're praying for the door to open, but he's strengthening your character so that when it does,
29:56you won't collapse under the weight of it.
29:58Because if you arrive too soon without the spiritual depth to carry it,
30:02the very thing you prayed for can become the very thing that breaks you.
30:07So don't despise the weight.
30:09Don't dismiss it.
30:11Embrace it.
30:12Because in that space, God is not idle.
30:14He's closer than you think.
30:16And he's speaking not always through loud answers, but through quiet shaping.
30:20He's showing you how to rely on his presence instead of his performance.
30:24How to desire his will more than your timeline.
30:28How to love him, not just for what he does, but for who he is.
30:32Think about Joseph.
30:34He had a dream in his heart, but found himself in a prison.
30:37The delay was long.
30:3913 years between the dream and the fulfillment.
30:42But in that weight, Joseph's faith was forged.
30:45He learned to lead in obscurity, to serve with excellence, even when no one saw him,
30:50to trust God in the darkness.
30:52And when the moment came when Pharaoh called him out of the pit, Joseph wasn't just ready.
30:57He was formed.
30:59Think about David.
31:00Anointed as king while still a teenager, but it took years.
31:04Painful, humbling years before he sat on the throne.
31:08In that way, David learned to worship with a broken heart.
31:11To trust God when hunted by Saul.
31:13To lead men while running for his life.
31:16The wilderness didn't waste him.
31:18It shaped him.
31:19The weight became the fire that forged a king.
31:22The same is true for you.
31:23You may be in a season that feels like a holding pattern.
31:27Circling, waiting for your life to finally land.
31:30But this is not dead time.
31:32This is holy ground.
31:33This is sacred space where God is forming your faith for what's next.
31:37Don't rush through it.
31:38Don't curse it.
31:39Let it do its work.
31:41Because one day when the door opens, when the prayer is answered, when the promise is fulfilled,
31:46you'll look back and realize that it wasn't just about getting what you were waiting for.
31:51It was about becoming who God always intended you to be.
31:55The waiting room became the training ground.
31:59And the faith that was formed in the quiet will be the very thing that carries you through the noise.
32:03It's easy to focus on what's not happening, but shift your eyes to what is happening.
32:09There's growth taking place inside of you.
32:11There's strength being built.
32:13There's faith being refined.
32:15And the you who comes out of this weight will be more grounded, more focused, more ready than the you who walked into it.
32:21Because God's not just preparing the promise for you.
32:25He's preparing you for the promise.
32:28And he never wastes the weight.
32:29He fills it with purpose.
32:31He fills it with his presence.
32:32And most of all, he fills it with the kind of faith that doesn't just believe in miracles.
32:37It becomes one.
