00:00We live in a time of unprecedented spiritual confusion.

00:03The church, once known for its uncompromising devotion to truth, has in many places become

00:08a platform for error, compromise, and worldly influence.

00:13The lines between the sacred and the secular have been blurred.

00:17The distinction between truth and falsehood is no longer drawn with precision, and in

00:21the process the church is being deceived.

00:24This is not a new tactic.

00:26Deception has always been Satan's strategy.

00:29In Genesis 3, the serpent said to the woman, did God really say?

00:34The first lie ever told was a distortion of God's Word, and from that moment the enemy

00:39has used deception to infiltrate, corrupt, and neutralize the people of God.

00:43What we are witnessing today is not merely weakness.

00:47It is not just immaturity.

00:49It is spiritual treason, mass intolerance and tolerance.

00:53The church is accommodating error under the banner of love, compromise under the guise

00:57of unity, and heresy dressed up as enlightenment.

01:01Paul warned us in 2 Timothy 4, 3-4, for the time will come when they will not endure sound

01:07doctrine.

01:08But after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

01:13And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables.

01:17That time has come.

01:20In fact, we are drowning in it.

01:21The church is being deceived by false teachers who claim to speak for God, but speak lies

01:26from their own hearts.

01:28Ha!

01:29These are not prophets.

01:30They are pretenders.

01:31They preach a gospel that offends no one, requires nothing, and promises everything.

01:37They talk of prosperity, but never of sin.

01:40They preach about breakthrough, but never about repentance.

01:43They build platforms for themselves, not pulpits for the Word.

01:47Jeremiah 5, 31 declares, the prophets prophecy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority.

01:54And my people love it so?

01:56This is exactly what we are seeing.

01:59People love soft sermons and wide gates.

02:02They want comfort without conviction, affirmation without truth, a God made in their own image.

02:09And they find teachers who will give them just that.

02:12But the true church is not built on motivational slogan.

02:15It is not built on social justice or cultural relevance.

02:19It is built on the unchanging, inerrant, sufficient Word of God.

02:23And when that Word is abandoned, even subtly, deception takes root.

02:27Let us be clear.

02:29Deception is not always loud.

02:30It is often subtle.

02:31Satan doesn't always come with horns and red robes.

02:34He often comes dressed as an angel of light, quoted in 2 Corinthians 11, 14.

02:40He imitates truth just enough to appear orthodox.

02:43He mixes error with truth to render it ineffective.

02:46And many in the church are too biblically illiterate, too spiritually apathetic to notice.

02:551 John 4, 1.

02:561 to examine everything carefully and hold fast to what is good.

03:001 Thessalonians 5, 21.

03:03But instead, discernment has been rebranded as judgmentalism.

03:07Bold preaching has been mistaken for arrogance, and theological clarity has been exchanged for

03:12emotional experience.

03:15Many churches no longer preach Christ crucified.

03:17Instead, they preach self-help, pop psychology, and messages tailored to the felt needs of man.

03:24They have abandoned the vertical for the horizontal, the eternal for the temporal.

03:29In doing so, they have embraced another gospel, a powerless, Christless gospel that cannot save.

03:35Galatians 1, 6, 9 warns us of this.

03:38I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ for

03:43a different gospel, which is really not another.

03:47Only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

03:52This is not a secondary issue.

03:55This is not an area where we can agree to disagree.

03:58This is life and death.

03:59This is heaven and hell.

04:01When the gospel is distorted, souls are lost.

04:04When doctrine is diluted, Christ is dishonored.

04:07So what must the true church do?

04:09We must return to the authority of Scripture, return to the boldness of apostolic preaching,

04:15return to the holiness of God and the centrality of the cross.

04:19We must proclaim the whole counsel of God, not just the parts that are palatable to a

04:23fallen culture.

04:25We must be willing to be unpopular.

04:28We must be willing to be mocked, labeled intolerant, narrow-minded, even dangerous.

04:34Because the truth is narrow.

04:35The gospel is exclusive.

04:37And Christ said, if they persecuted me, they will also persecute you, John 15, 20.

04:44The church is being deceived because it has forgotten its calling.

04:48We are not here to be liked.

04:49We are here to be faithful.

04:51We are not called to build crowds.

04:53We are called to make disciples.

04:55We are not entertaining.

04:56We are heralds of the King.

04:58Truth is not a marketing strategy.

05:01It is a divine mandate.

05:03And so we must allow, we must confront the lies, expose the darkness, and shine the light

05:09of the gospel into the places where deception has taken hold.

05:13We must preach the word in season and out of season.

05:16Whether the culture welcomes it or not.

05:19Because one day we will give an account, not to the culture, not to the culture but to Christ.

05:25And He will not ask how relevant we were.

05:27He will not ask how many followers we had.

05:30He will ask, were you faithful with my truth?

05:33The first tactic of Satan in the garden was not to attack God's existence, but to question

05:37His word.

05:38But did God really say?

05:41Those four words began the unraveling of mankind.

05:44And they remain the cornerstone of deception today.

05:47Every false teaching, every doctrinal compromise, every moral collapse in the church traces back

05:52to this fundamental issue, the distortion of God's Word.

05:57When the church begins to question, twist or ignore what God has clearly spoken, it opens

06:02the floodgates to deception.

06:04The authority and clarity of Scripture are not optional doctrines.

06:08They are foundational.

06:09The moment a church loses its confidence in the sufficiency and inerrancy of the Word

06:14of God, it becomes vulnerable to every wind of doctrine, every cultural trend, and every

06:19manipulative voice claiming divine insight.

06:23The enemy does not have to destroy the Bible to neutralize it.

06:26He only needs to make it seem unclear, insufficient, or outdated.

06:30The strategy is subtle.

06:32Take what God said, add a little human wisdom, remove the uncomfortable parts, and repackage

06:37it for modern consumption.

06:40Many pulpits today are filled with eloquence, passion, and emotional pull, yet they are void

06:45of biblical substance.

06:47Sermons are carefully crafted around motivational slogans, therapeutic concepts, and entertaining

06:53illustration.

06:54But the central task of preaching, rightly dividing the Word of Truth, has been replaced

06:59by storytelling and personal opinions.

07:02The Word of God has been reduced to a backdrop rather than the driving force.

07:06And in doing so, the church is being deceived, not by external enemies, but by internal compromise.

07:13Deception is effective because it often appears so close to the truth.

07:17A distorted gospel doesn't always deny Christ, it simply redefines Him.

07:21It doesn't always reject Scripture, it selectively uses Him.

07:26It may reference the Bible, but it does not submit to it.

07:30This is precisely how false doctrine gains traction.

07:33It disguises itself in the language of Christianity while gutting the message of its power.

07:38It exchanges exegesis for emotionalism, depth for entertainment, and doctrine for drama.

07:44This is not just a problem of style.

07:47It's a matter of spiritual life and death.

07:49Romans 10, 17 says, Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.

07:55If the Word is distorted, what kind of faith will it produce?

07:58If what people are hearing is not the true gospel, then what they believe will not be saving

08:03faith.

08:04When the Word is mishandled, the foundation is cracked, and the entire spiritual structure

08:09will eventually collapse.

08:11In many churches, essential doctrines have been downplayed or completely abandoned for

08:15fear of offending.

08:17The exclusivity of Christ, the reality of sin, the wrath of God, the necessity of repentance,

08:23these are not optional truths.

08:25They are the very heartbeat of the gospel.

08:28But when the Word is distorted, these truths are often replaced with affirmations, positivity,

08:34and vague spiritual platitudes that lack power to convict or say.

08:38The aim becomes to attract rather than to proclaim, to comfort rather than to confront, to please

08:43man rather than to honor God.

08:46The distortion of God's Word is not only found in what is said, but in what is left unsaid.

08:52Entire passages of Scripture are ignored because they are inconvenient.

08:55The hard sayings of Jesus are omitted.

08:58The warnings of judgment are skipped.

09:00The commands to holiness are softened.

09:02The call to self-denial is minimized.

09:05What remains is a neutered gospel that bears no resemblance to the message preached by Christ

09:10and His apostles.

09:11This is not merely a modern issue.

09:14The prophet Isaiah wrote of a people who said, speak to us pleasant words, prophecy allusions.

09:20Isaiah 30.10.

09:21The appetite for distortion has always existed, but it is the responsibility of the church to

09:26resist it, not cater to it.

09:29When people clamor for messages that are easy, palatable, and non-confrontational, the church

09:34must stand firm on the unchanging truth of Scripture, no matter the cost.

09:39When the church begins to believe that the Bible is not enough, it turns to human wisdom.

09:45But human wisdom cannot produce divine life.

09:48Human strategies cannot create spiritual transformation.

09:52Only the unadulterated Word of God empowered by the Holy Spirit can convict the sinner, strengthen

09:57the saint and glorify Christ.

10:00Distorting that Word is nothing less than spiritual sabotage.

10:04There is also a growing trend to reinterpret Scripture through the lens of culture, rather

10:09than evaluating culture through the lens of Scripture.

10:13This reversal is dangerous.

10:15It subjects the eternal Word of God to the shifting values of a fallen world.

10:20It elevates human opinion above divine revelation.

10:23It treats the Bible as a living document in the political sense, subject to change, redefinition,

10:29and modernization, rather than the living Word of God, timeless, unchangeable, and absolute.

10:36Even seminaries, once bastions of truth, have become breeding grounds for skepticism and deconstruction.

10:43The greatest threat to the modern church is not persecution from the outside, but seduction

10:48from within.

10:49False teachers have crept in unnoticed, disguising themselves with persuasive words, charismatic

10:55personalities, and spiritual vocabulary.

10:58But their message is not the message of the cross.

11:01It is a gospel without repentance, a salvation without surrender, a Christ without a crown.

11:07They preach comfort without conviction, blessings without obedience, and spiritual success

11:11without self-denial.

11:13This kind of teaching is not just misleading, it is damning.

11:18It leads people to believe they are right with God, when they have never confronted the

11:22reality of their sin.

11:24False teachers understand that people do not want to be told they are sinners.

11:28They know that messages about holiness, judgment, and repentance are unpopular.

11:34So instead they offer a sanitized version of Christianity, one that affirms the sinner rather than transforms

11:40him.

11:41They promote a therapeutic gospel where God exists to improve your life, boost your confidence,

11:47and make you feel good.

11:48Sin is redefined as mistakes, struggles, or imperfections.

11:53Holiness is reduced to positive thinking.

11:55And Christ becomes a life coach rather than the sovereign Lord and judge of all.

12:00This soft gospel is attractive because it demands nothing.

12:03It does not confront.

12:04It does not rebuke.

12:06Does not expose the darkness of the human heart.

12:09Instead, it reinforces self-love, self-help, and self-fulfillment.

12:14It wraps itself in Bible verses taken out of context and offers a religion of convenience.

12:19It removes the offense of the cross and replaces it with a motivational slogan.

12:24But the real gospel is offensive.

12:26It tells man that he is lost, dead in sin, deserving of wrath, and utterly unable to save himself.

12:34It points to a bloody cross.

12:36Not a comfortable life.

12:37It demands repentance.

12:38Not just affirmation.

12:39In 2 Peter 2, Scripture warns us of these false teachers.

12:43They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the master who bought them.

12:48And many will follow their sensuality.

12:52And because of them, the way of the truth will be malign.

12:55These are not minor doctrinal differences.

12:58These are damnable heresies that lead people away from the narrow path.

13:01And yet the church tolerates them.

13:05In many cases, it celebrates them.

13:07They fill stadiums, dominate Christian media, and boast millions of followers.

13:12But popularity is not a sign of truth.

13:15In fact, Jesus said, Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to

13:20treat the false prophets in the same way.

13:23What makes these teachers so dangerous is not just their error, but their appeal.

13:27They speak with authority.

13:28They appear sincere.

13:30They talk about Jesus, quote Scripture, and mention the Holy Spirit.

13:34But they twist the Word of God to fit their agenda.

13:37They promise breakthrough, destiny, and divine favor.

13:41But they never mention the cost of following Christ.

13:44They talk about the crown, but not the cross.

13:47They promise life without demanding death to self.

13:50And because people love what they hear, they rarely question what is being said.

13:55The apostle Paul warned the elders in Ephesus that after his departure, savage wolves will

14:00come in among you, not sparing the flock.

14:03These wolves do not wear name tags that say a heretic.

14:07They wear sheep's clothing.

14:08They are subtle, smooth, and convincing.

14:11But their message is empty.

14:13It offers comfort without regeneration, peace without justification, and joy without holiness.

14:18It is a man-centered message that makes much of people and very little of God.

14:22It is focused on the present rather than eternity, the seen rather than the unseen, the temporal

14:28rather than the eternal.

14:30False teachers often appeal to the desires of the flesh.

14:33They tell people what they want to hear rather than what they need to hear.

14:36They teach that God wants you to be rich, healthy, successful, and admired.

14:41They reduce faith to a formula, formula.

14:45If you believe enough, speak enough, give enough, God will bless you.

14:49But this is not the gospel of Christ.

14:51The true gospel says, deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow him.

14:55It calls us to die daily, to resist the world, and to pursue holiness.

15:00It promises suffering, not comfort.

15:02It offers eternal reward, not earthly luxury.

15:05The danger is not just what these false teachers preach, but what they omit.

15:10They do not speak of sin, wrath, judgment, or hell.

15:14They do not call people to repentance.

15:16They never warn of the narrow gate or the broad road that leads to destruction.

15:20Instead, they preach a wide, easy, painless path to heaven.

15:25But Jesus said, many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, and I will declare to them,

15:30I never knew you.

15:32That is the terrifying consequence of following a false gospel.

15:36It leads people to a false assurance, and ultimately to eternal separation from God.

15:41The church is being deceived because it has grown accustomed to watered down preaching.

15:46It has traded the meat of the Word for spiritual junk food.

15:50It has become addicted to emotional highs, theatrical performances, and self-centered messages.

15:57And the result is a generation of professing Christians who know little of biblical truth,

16:02little of repentance, and little of what it means to truly follow Christ.

16:06They may be sincere, but they have been sincerely misled, and the ones who led them there will

16:11one day give an account before a holy God.

16:14True shepherds are not called to please the sheep, but to protect them.

16:18They are not entertainers.

16:19They are watchmen.

16:21They are charged to proclaim the truth, no matter the cost.

16:25The faithful preacher must preach sin, judgment, repentance, and grace in all its fullness.

16:30He must speak the truth in love, not love without truth.

16:33He must fear God more than he fears the opinions of men.

16:37Because eternity is at stake, and the souls of men hang in the balance.

16:42One of the greatest tragedies in the modern church is the confusion between discernment and

16:46emotionalism.

16:48That is the God-given ability to distinguish truth from error, light from darkness, righteousness

16:53from wickedness.

16:55It is essential for spiritual maturity and biblical faithfulness.

17:00But in many churches today, discernment has been dismissed as harsh or unloving.

17:04An emotional experience has taken its place.

17:08People no longer ask, is this true according to Scripture?

17:11They ask, does this feel right to me?

17:14The standard of truth has shifted from objective revelation to subjective sensation.

17:19And as a result, the church is being deceived.

17:22Scripture is filled with commands to be discerning.

17:24Proverbs 14.15 says, the simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.

17:32Hebrews 5.14 speaks of those who, by constant use, have trained themselves to distinguish good

17:38from evil.

17:40The truth is not optional.

17:42It is the fruit of a mind saturated in Scripture and a heart submitted to the Spirit.

17:47But the modern church, in its pursuit of relevance and popularity, has often traded depth for emotional

17:53stimulation.

17:55Music becomes more important than doctrine, atmosphere, more important than truth, and feelings

18:00more important than faithfulness.

18:02Emotions are not inherently wrong.

18:05God created us with emotions.

18:07Jesus wept.

18:09Paul rejoiced.

18:10David poured out his heart in the song.

18:12But emotions must be governed by truth.

18:15When feelings are elevated above the authority of God's Word, they become dangerous guides.

18:20The heart, Scripture says, is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.

18:25Trusting our emotions as the measure of truth is like navigating a storm without a compass.

18:30It leads to spiritual shipwreck.

18:32Spirit services today are often designed not to instruct the mind, but to stir the senses.

18:38Lights, sounds, and emotionally charged music create an environment that can easily be mistaken

18:43for the presence of God.

18:45But God's presence is not dependent on the mood of a room.

18:48His presence is mediated through His Word, His Spirit, and the truth of the gospel.

18:54When emotional highs replace sound doctrine, people are left vulnerable to deception.

18:59They may feel close to God while embracing beliefs and practices that are unbiblical and harmful.

19:05And false teachers exploit this confusion between truth and emotion.

19:10They use stirring stories, passionate delivery, and charismatic flair to gain followers.

19:15But their messages often lack biblical substance.

19:19They speak in vague spiritual terms, use selective verses out of context, and avoid any teaching

19:24that might cause discomfort.

19:27Their goal is not to form Christ in people, but to entertain and affirm them.

19:31And because many in the church have lost the discipline of discernment, they cannot recognize

19:35the danger.

19:37They mistake charisma for anointing, excitement for edification, and hype for holiness.

19:43This problem is compounded by a culture that elevates personal experience above all else.

19:48In our world, feelings define reality.

19:51People say, I feel this is right, or I had a powerful encounter, and that becomes their

19:56ultimate authority.

19:58But experience must never stand alone.

20:01It must be tested by the Word of God.

20:03The Barians were commended in Acts 17, not because they felt something, but because they

20:08searched the Scriptures daily to see if what they were hearing was true.

20:12The modern church would do well to follow their example.

20:16The emphasis on emotional experience also undermines spiritual stability.

20:20When faith is built on feelings, it becomes fragile.

20:23The moment the emotions fade, doubt sets in.

20:27People begin to question their salvation, their calling, and their relationship with God.

20:32Not because the truth has changed, but because the feelings have changed.

20:36Faith that is grounded in truth remains firm even when emotions waver.

20:41But faith grounded in emotion is tossed about by every wave of circumstance.

20:45This emotionalism also affects how people approach sin and holiness.

20:50Rather than being convicted by the Word and the Spirit, people wait to feel led to change.

20:56Repentance becomes a response to emotional regret rather than a decisive turn based on truth.

21:02Holiness is pursued only when it feels good, and sin is excused if it feels sincere.

21:07This is not biblical Christianity.

21:08The call to follow Christ is not a call to emotional satisfaction, but to self-denial, obedience

21:14and truth at any cost.

21:17Discernment requires training.

21:19It requires time in the Word, dependence on the Spirit, and a willingness to be unpopular.

21:25It requires the courage to say, this is not of God, even when others are moved to tears

21:29or swept up in the moment.

21:31It requires a mind that is being renewed, not conformed to the world.

21:36But many believers have been taught that to question a spiritual experience is to grieve

21:40the Spirit, and so they suppress their concerns, silence their questions, and go along with what

21:46feels powerful.

21:48This is how deception spreads.

21:50When discernment is lost, every spiritual-sounding message is accepted.

21:54Every popular teacher is followed.

21:56Every emotional high is interpreted as divine.

21:59And before long entire congregations are led astray.

22:03Not because they intentionally rebelled, but because they stopped testing everything by

22:07the Word of God.

22:08The church becomes a community of spiritual consumers, hungry for experiences but empty

22:14of truth.

22:15The remedy is a return to the authority of Scripture.

22:18Every teaching, every prophecy, every spiritual experience must be examined in the light of God's

22:24unchanging truth.

22:26Worship must be rooted in spirit and truth, not merely emotional expression.

22:31Teaching must aim to build up the church in knowledge and holiness, not just inspire momentary passion.

22:37And believers must learn to evaluate not only what they feel, but why they feel it, and whether

22:42those feelings align with the Word of God.

23:01The gospel that saves is the gospel that exalts Christ, His person, His work, His authority,

23:12and His sufficiency.

23:13But in much of the modern church, the gospel has been redefined in ways that strip it of

23:18its power and rob Christ of His glory.

23:21A gospel that does not center on Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, is not the gospel at all.

23:27A message that omits His lordship, His holiness, and His exclusive role as Savior is a counterfeit.

23:34The church is being deceived by a Christless gospel, one that uses His name but rejects

23:39His demand, one that claims His benefits but denies His truth.

23:44This Christless gospel's gospel is subtle because it often appears spiritual.

23:49It talks about love, forgiveness, purpose, and transformation.

23:53It may even reference the cross, but it removes the offense of Christ.

23:57It does not preach Him as the only way, the only truth, and the only life.

24:02It does not preach Him as Lord, Judge, and returning King.

24:06It presents a tame, therapeutic Jesus who exists to improve your life and fulfill your dreams.

24:12It offers grace without truth, mercy without justice, and salvation without submission.

24:18It is a man-centered gospel that puts the sinner at the center and makes Christ a supporting

24:22character in their personal story.

24:25The true gospel begins with God, not man.

24:29It reveals a holy God who created all things and is worthy of all worship.

24:33It exposes the sinfulness of man, who has rebelled against God and stands condemned under

24:38His just wrath.

24:39It proclaims the necessity of a perfect substitute, Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who lived

24:46a sinless life, died in the place of sinners, bore the wrath of God and rose again in victory

24:51over sin and death.

24:53It calls all people everywhere to repent and believe.

24:56To turn from sin and trust wholly in Christ, it demands allegiance, not just agreement.

25:02It is not a suggestion, it is a command from the King of Kings.

25:06Any message that removes or diminishes the centrality of Christ is a false gospel.

25:11Paul warned the Corinthian church about this in 2 Corinthians 11, 4, for if someone comes

25:17and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaim, you put up with it readily enough.

25:22This is not a new problem.

25:25From the earliest days of the church, there have been preachers and teachers offering a

25:29different Jesus, a Jesus who fits human expectations rather than divine revelation.

25:35These counterfeit Christs may be popular, but they are powerless to save.

25:40They may inspire emotions, but they do not lead to regeneration.

25:44In today's culture, the pressure to conform to human preferences is immense.

25:48There is a temptation to reshape the gospel so that it offends no one.

25:52The exclusivity of Christ is replaced with spiritual pluralism.

25:57The call to holiness is replaced with tolerance.

26:00The cost of discipleship is replaced with promises of prosperity.

26:05But the gospel is not supposed to be appealing to the flesh.

26:08It is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles.

26:12It confronts human pride, demolishes self-righteousness, and demands full surrender to Christ.

26:18To remove Christ's supremacy is to gut the gospel of its meaning.

26:23The church must understand that Christ is not an accessory to the gospel.

26:27He is the gospel.

26:28Without Christ, there is no salvation.

26:31Without His atoning death, there is no forgiveness.

26:34Without His resurrection, there is no victory.

26:37Without His righteousness, there is no justification.

26:40The gospel is not merely about principles for better living or strategies for success.

26:46It is the message of a crucified Savior who bore the wrath of God on behalf of sinners,

26:51and now reigns in glory, calling all men to bow before Him.

26:54To preach anything less is to deceive the hearers and dishonor the one who purchased the church

26:59with His blood.

27:01This Christless gospel has infiltrated books, music, conferences, and sermons.

27:05It often sounds spiritual and uplifting.

27:08It speaks of grace, but it never defines it biblically.

27:11It speaks of faith, but it never identifies its true object.

27:16It encourages people to have believed in themselves, to unlock their destiny, or to have followed

27:21their dreams.

27:22But it rarely, if ever, speaks of sin, wrath, judgment, or the narrow path of obedience.

27:28It promotes a God who wants you happy more than holy, and a Savior who exists to serve rather

27:33than to rule.

27:34Ah!

27:35This is not the Jesus of Scripture.

27:38It is a creation of man's imagination, and it leads people not to heaven but to destruction.

27:43When Christ is removed from the center, everything collapses.

27:46The cross becomes meaningless.

27:48The resurrection becomes symbolic.

27:51The commands of Scripture become optional.

27:53The church becomes a community center rather than the household of faith.

27:57Discipleship becomes entertainment.

27:59Preaching becomes performance.

28:02Evangelism becomes marketing.

28:04And discipleship becomes motivational coaching.

28:06The glory of Christ is replaced with the applause of man.

28:10But the gospel is not about what man wants to hear.

28:13It is about what God has declared.

28:15It is not shaped by human opinion but revealed by divine revelation.

28:20Preaching the true gospel means preaching the real Christ.

28:23Not the soft, sentimental caricature that the world prefers, but the sovereign, holy, and

28:28glorious Son of God who demands repentance and offers eternal life to those who believe.

28:34It means proclaiming Him not only as Savior but as Lord.

28:38It means calling people to turn from sin and follow Him regardless of the cost.

28:44It means lifting up His name above every name, even when the world rejects Him.

28:48It means being faithful to the message because it is His gospel, not our deity.

28:53The church must reclaim a gospel that is saturated with Christ.

28:57Not a gospel of success.

28:58Not a gospel of affirmation, not a gospel of human potential, but the gospel of grace

29:04through faith in the risen Son of God.

29:07This is the only gospel that saves.

29:09This is the only gospel that glorifies God.

29:12Everything less is deception, and it must be exposed.

29:16In an age of spiritual confusion, moral compromise, and doctrinal erosion, the church's greatest

29:22need is not innovation or reinvention.

29:24It is faithfulness.

29:26Faithfulness to the truth, regardless of cultural trends or public opinion.

29:30The true church of Jesus Christ is called to stand firm on the unchanging Word of God,

29:35even when that truth is unpopular, rejected, or ridiculed.

29:39The faithful church does not shift with every wind of doctrine or bow to the demands of society.

29:46It remains anchored in the authority of Scripture, rooted in sound doctrine, and unwavering in

29:50its commitment to proclaim the gospel without apology or alteration.

29:55Faithfulness is not measured by external success or numbers.

29:59It is not determined by how many followers, how large the congregation, or how well the message

30:04is received.

30:06Faithfulness is measured by obedience to God's revealed truth.

30:10The temptation in every generation is to soften the message to gain a wider audience, to modify

30:15the message to fit the culture, or to hide the offense of the cross to avoid persecution.

30:21But the church does not have the right to rewrite the message.

30:24It is not the author of the gospel.

30:27It is the steward, and stewards are called to be found faithful.

30:30The early church understood this.

30:32They were not powerful by worldly standards.

30:35They had no buildings, no influence in politics, no social media platforms, and yet they turned

30:40the world upside down.

30:42Why?

30:43Because they preached Christ crucified.

30:46They preached the whole counsel of God.

30:48They endured suffering, rejection, and even martyrdom, but they would not compromise the

30:52truth.

30:53God told Timothy to preach the word, be ready in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke,

31:00and exhort with great patience and instruction.

31:03This charge still stands.

31:05The church is not called to be successful by the world's standards, but to be faithful

31:09in every season.

31:10The faithful church is marked by a reverence for Scripture.

31:14It does not treat the Bible as a collection of suggestions or inspirational quotes.

31:19It regards it as the very Word of God, living, active, and authoritative in all matters of

31:23life and doctrine.

31:25The faithful church does not edit, twist, or downplay Scripture to accommodate cultural

31:30sensitivities.

31:31It proclaims the truth with clarity, boldness, and humility.

31:36It calls sin what God calls sin.

31:38It teaches what God has revealed, even when it is counter-cultural or offensive to human pride.

31:43The faithful church believes that Scripture is sufficient, not just for salvation, but

31:48for all of life.

31:50Faithfulness also means contending for the faith once delivered to the saints.

31:54Jude urged believers to contend earnestly because there were false teachers who had crept

31:58in unnoticed.

32:00These men turned the grace of God into license and denied the Lordship of Christ.

32:05The same threat exists today.

32:08False teachers abound.

32:10They may use Christian language, carry a Bible, and stand behind a pulpit, but their message

32:15is not the gospel.

32:17They minimize sin, elevate self, distort grace, and offer a God made in their own image.

32:22The faithful church must expose these errors, not embrace them.

32:27It must confront false teaching, not tolerate it.

32:30It must protect the flock, not pander to the wolves.

32:33A faithful church is also a holy church.

32:36It does not look like the world, think like the world, or act like the world.

32:41It pursues righteousness, not relevance.

32:44It strives to be pure, not popular.

32:46It calls its members to live lives worthy of the calling they have received.

32:51Holiness is not legalism, it is the fruit of genuine salvation.

32:54Those who are saved by grace through faith are also sanctified by that same grace.

33:00The faithful church does not entertain sin, excuse sin, or normalize sin.

33:05It weeps over it, confronts it, and calls people to repentance.

33:09It understands that without holiness, no one will see the Lord.

33:13Faithfulness also requires courage.

33:15To stand for truth in a world that hates the truth demands boldness.

33:20It requires a fear of God that surpasses the fear of man.

33:23It means speaking the truth even when it costs relationships, reputation, or safety.

33:29The faithful church is not silent when evil is celebrated.

33:32It does not retreat when persecution comes.

33:35It does not compromise for the sake of comfort or convenience.

33:39It stands on the promises of God, knowing that Christ has already overcome the world.

33:45It rests in the assurance that nothing can separate us from His love, and no power can

33:49prevail against His church.

33:52The faithful church prioritizes discipleship over entertainment.

33:56It does not exist to create consumers, but to make disciples.

34:00It teaches sound doctrine, trains believers in righteousness, and equips the saints for

34:05the work of ministry.

34:06It challenges people to grow, to serve, and to suffer for the sake of Christ.

34:11It does not cater to personal preferences or chase after worldly trends.

34:15It builds up the body of Christ through the truth of Scripture and the power of the Spirit.

34:21It understands that spiritual maturity does not happen overnight, but requires endurance,

34:26discipline, and continual submission to God's Word.

34:30In times of deception, the faithful church becomes a beacon of light.

34:34It shines not because it conforms to the darkness, but because it stands in contrast to it.

34:40It speaks clearly when others are silent.

34:44It remains steadfast when others drift.

34:46It holds fast to the anchor of truth when the storm of compromise raging.

34:51It does not apologize for proclaiming the exclusivity of Christ, the necessity of repentance,

34:56and the glory of the gospel.

34:59It does not dilute its message to gain the world, for it knows that friendship with the

35:03world is a great deal of spiritual purpose.

35:13I don't know what I am.

35:16I think it is a general intention of being a Christian.

35:21I think the truth is a Christian.
