US President Donald Trump on July 27 said Israel would have to make a decision on their next steps in Gaza, adding that he did not know what would happen after moves by both Israel and Hamas seem to suggest that they were pulling out of ceasefire and hostage-release negotiations. 01:48So what's going to happen? I don't know. I can tell you that Hamas, as I said, would happen at the end.

01:55You know, we've gotten back a lot of hostages, a tremendous number of hostages, most of them.

02:00Now we have dead hostages and the mothers want them back.

02:05And we have 20 people approximately, but that are living.

02:09But we have a lot of bodies and the parents want those bodies as much as they would want their child if that child were alive.

02:18I mean, they're devastated. And I said, when you get it down to a certain number, you're going to be able to make a deal with Hamas.

02:25Because once they give them up and they feel that that's going to be the end of them.

02:30And what I said is exactly true. You know, they had a routine discussion the other day and all of a sudden they hardened up.

02:35They don't want to give them back. And so Israel is going to have to make a decision.

02:40You know, when I see the children and what I see, especially over the last couple of weeks,

02:45and people are stealing the food, they're stealing the money, they're stealing the money for the food,

02:51they're stealing weapons, they're stealing everything. It's a mess. That whole place is a mess.

02:56I have repeatedly condemned the horrific 7th October attacks by Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups,

03:03fully recognizing the trauma inflicted on Israel.

03:08I've also repeatedly condemned the scope and scale of death, destruction, and misery

03:13inflicted on the Palestinian people in Gaza since then.

03:16I call again for an immediate permanent ceasefire.

03:19The immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and all others arbitrarily detained.

03:26Immediate and unhindered humanitarian access.

03:29and the delivery of massive humanitarian aid to Palestinians wherever they are.
