11:19Last week, Summer Sorrell stepped into this ring for the very first time in front of the live TV crowd.
11:39This was one of the most surreal moments of my entire life, because for the past few years, I've sat in that very same crowd, watching, and secretly hoping that maybe someday that could be me.
11:58But there was just one big problem.
12:01I was terrified.
12:04I doubted myself so much, and I thought, even if I got the opportunity to try out for the WWE, there was no point, because I wasn't good enough.
12:13They wouldn't want me.
12:13But there's something that Michelle McCool always says that's really stuck with me, and that is failure isn't fatal.
12:21So now when I step into this ring, I'm still scared, but I've learned how to do it scared.
12:27And another big motivator for me is that my mom, who is my best friend, is always in the front row cheering me on.
12:33A few years ago, my mom got diagnosed with cancer, and there was a point in time where when she first got diagnosed, I didn't know if she was going to make it or not, let alone make it here to watch me live out the biggest dream.
12:56So now whoever steps through that curtain, it doesn't matter, because I've left all my fear behind it.
13:03And I'm doing that for her, and for the girl that sat in the stadium for so many years, thinking that she would never be good enough.
