Transcript
00:00Also in Venezuela, the Women Heroines Movement is born at the International Meeting of Mothers Victims of Fascism.
00:06The proposal was presented by one of the mothers of the 252 Venezuelans rescued from the Terrorism Detention Center in El Salvador,
00:15with the support of the Argentinian Organization of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo.
00:19The Women Heroines Movement is a platform for the fight to defend the rights of Venezuelan migrants around the world.
00:25The meeting also served to demand the release of the 32 Venezuelan children kidnapped in the United States,
00:32showing that the fight for justice and dignity continues.
00:43Children are the hope of the world. Children are the most sacred thing in life.
00:49How can we continue to allow this? How can we continue to allow these children to die of hunger, poverty, and preventable diseases?
01:01How is it possible that we continue to allow these killer bombs that kill innocent people?
01:08It affected each of us very deeply.
01:14I was one of the mothers who traveled to Geneva, acting as a spokesperson for my son and for all of us.
01:20It was painful every time we had to speak to a rapporteur and tell my story and your stories.
01:26You were victims, kidnapped, and violated in every way, and we had to be there to defend you.
01:33Each of your mothers was with us, through prayer, through messages, but in the struggle.
01:41A struggle that helped us and opened the door for us.
01:45Our president Nicolás Maduro, because he never asked us what political party we belonged to,
01:50he was always there with us, fighting for everyone until we achieved the victory we have today.
01:56In the fight.
