00:00The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, proposed on Friday to build a new power of

00:05communication network to confront the disinformation promoted by the hegemonic media and social

00:10medias.

00:11During his speech at the International Conference in Solidarity with Palestine, held in Caracas,

00:15the president urged to achieve new consensus to do more for Palestine, adding that in the

00:20world there are still many people uniformed, uninformed about what is really happening

00:26in the Gaza Strip.

00:27In this context, he mentioned that the elites of the United States and Israel are planning

00:31a war in the communication area, with the aim of destroying history and identity of

00:35peoples, replacing them with anti-values and normalizing fascism.

00:49It is necessary to build a power, a new power, a strong communication network.

00:57For the truth of the peoples, throughout the length of all the continents, with all

01:04the languages, and in all the social networks existing today, and in the social networks

01:13that will be born as an alternative, because alternative social networks are going to be

01:54representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, and officials of the Embassy of Venezuela

01:57in Cuba.

01:58It was emphasized that the union of the peoples is the only means to overcome adversities.

02:09On November 30th marks the debut in Seattle of the United States of the anti-globalization

02:15movement after 50,000 demonstrators prevented in the year 1999 the opening ceremony of the

02:20WTO summit from taking place.

02:22The worldwide anti-globalization movement is characterized by its rejection of the neoliberal

02:26capitalist model and the demand for social justice.

02:29It includes environmentalists, feminists, anarchists, Christians, former communists,

02:33defenders of human rights and others.

02:35Their main strategy consists of taking advantage of the meetings of the most important multilateral

02:40organizations to call for massive parallel demonstrations, as they did with Great Echo

02:44in Seattle, Washington, and Prague.
