04:20And what a great way to start this show, yeah?
04:22This next tune is off a record we call it The Viath, and we call this little ditty,
04:29blood, and thunder.
04:33I think that someone is trying to kill me.
04:51I'm infecting my blood, destroying my mind.
04:58No man of the past could ever stop me.
05:04The frightful decisions are mine to the dead.

09:09For inventing this genre of heavy metal where we all call home.
09:17And thank you to Birmingham, England for hosting the greatest heavy metal concert of all time.
09:25We are Mastodon and we love you all.
15:03I'd say one of the biggest threats to people living with Parkinson's is time.
15:07There are things I can do.
15:41And we'll be right back.
16:16Thanks!
16:17Russ. My name's Alex Woodford and I'm a prison officer from West Sussex. Yeah I've got an image
16:24I suppose among friends and colleagues co-workers of being the heavy metal guy so and Black Sabbath
16:31are a massive part of that. It's a really strange feeling when you go to a Sabbath gig even though
16:36it's in a huge stadium there's still like this sense of family seeing Ozzy, Tony, Giza and Bill
16:44on the stage for one final time it's probably going to make me cry. No, I'm very very excited,
16:53very excited. As soon as they step on stage that's going to be the moment for me.
16:58Ozzy! Ozzy! It's Mikey Lane from San Pedro, California. I just wanted to thank you for my
17:06entire life. You taught me music, you taught me about myself. Black Sabbath, thank you for being
17:11you and creating a genre of music. I wouldn't be here, none of these bands tonight would be here.
17:16I love you Black Sabbath! 57 more years, give it to me!
17:24Hi Black Sabbath, this is Karen from Katy, Texas. Thank you for inventing heavy metal.
17:30Where would we be without it? Rock on!
17:35Hi, my name is Seneca Silverhorn. I live in the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian community
17:40in Scottsdale, Arizona. I just want to say thank you Black Sabbath for giving the world heavy metal.
17:49Thank you Ozzy and Black Sabbath for everything that you did for the metal community.
17:55God bless you, you guys, and God bless Black Sabbath.
18:04Honestly, honestly 15 seconds isn't enough. But I love you guys, you made my childhood.
18:10You are literally my favorite people in the whole wide world. I work at a Boy Scout camp,
18:14and I get called to the stage to tell rock and roll facts, and I've mostly told Black Sabbath facts.
18:19I love you guys so much, thank you.
18:21Ozzy and Black Sabbath, thank you guys so much for giving us the most amazing genre in the world
18:29that I still promote to this day, heavy metal. Without you, I don't know where I'd be. Love you guys.
18:35Hey Sabah, thanks a lot for all of the feelings you shared, all of the emotions you shared in these
18:4250 and more years. Long life, Black Sabbath. Hey guys, Filipe Albuquerque here,
18:49uh, and the Sabatages guitarist, a 25 years Black Sabbath tribute band from Brazil,
18:55and, and I'd like to be with you in this historic day, okay? Hi.
19:00Yeah! Aloha, Birmingham!
19:16Woo!
19:18Come here, fuck yeah!
19:22We made it!
19:25We are the luckiest motherfuckers in the world!
19:31Hey, let's give it up for Mastodon, that was fucking epic!
19:36Love you, Mastodon!
19:39Well, welcome back to the beginning, the final show ever for Ozzy Osbourne,
19:46and the final show for Birmingham's own Black Sabbath!
19:54I'm not gonna lie to you, when this concert was announced,
19:58I knew it was gonna be the greatest night of music ever.
20:01I fucking freaked out, I called everyone I knew, I called Kirk, I called Phil, I called Ian,
20:06I was just like, dude, please, I gotta get here and I gotta bring my kids, can anyone help me?
20:10Because I'm not, I'm more than just a fan, man, I am obsessed with Sabbath, and the bands that are here tonight.
20:17Metal is in all of our DNA.
20:19Every character that I've ever played has been inspired by this music, and built by this music.
20:31It's in everything that I am.
20:33So when the Osbournes called me and asked me to host, I was fucking scared as hell, I've never done this in my life.
20:39I belong out there in the audience with you,
20:43but if this is how I get an exclusive ticket to be the luckiest of 40,000 people in the world,
20:48I said, Ozzy, pardon my British, but let's fucking go!
20:52Today we celebrate heavy metal, a movement invented by Black Sabbath.
21:06That makes today a celebration of all of you, of Birmingham, because this is the city that gave birth to them.
21:16We also want to welcome all the metalheads from all over the world, because they're joining us live stream,
21:21so say what the fuck is up, everybody.
21:27Together we are going to make this the most epic day in the history of heavy metal,
21:32so let's tear this motherfucker down!
21:34Please welcome Rival Sons!
21:51What's up, everybody?
