00:00Thank you for hosting me. Firstly, the horrible situation is worse and more and more.
00:07Look, the main barriers for preventing aid from re-entering and entering Gaza is because of the occupation restrictions.
00:18And the number of limited trucks that let come into Gaza will not meet our needs.
00:24So it's not true. The official reports here from my testimonies and my colleagues here,
00:31there is no efficient number that may be caused tangible change and reduce the famine size.
00:40So little trucks and little numbers have been entering day by day, but it's not meeting our daily needs here
00:49and will not meet our basic needs also for the children and elderly people also.
00:55So the main category, that's limited trucks and limited amounts of flowers that come into the Gaza.
01:02You will have seen the suggestions of airdrops of aid into Gaza.
01:06Will that fix the hunger? Will that fix the malnutrition?
01:10Of course, absolutely. It's not non-effective and limited impact over the ground here
01:19because from my experience, previously airdrops causes casualties and hit people
01:25and also nothing tangible happened after some of airdrops.
01:31It's nearest to the propaganda or the media campaign just here.
01:36The famine here, my colleagues, need to urgently humanitarian intervention from all of the international community
01:44and let hundreds and hundreds of trucks to come to enter the Gaza freely without Israeli restrictions
01:52to give people life and to save children's life also, my colleagues.
01:57Can you give us a picture of child malnutrition in Gaza and perhaps how rapidly the situation is deteriorating day by day?
02:11Yeah, the situation here worsens and we lose our baby's soul at every moment.
02:20The accurate statistics will not be clear because a lot of our peoples haven't been able to reach the medical centers.
02:29After the repeated expulsion orders and invasion of most of the Gaza lands, the people is set in tents.
02:39So there is no nearest the medical center for them to save their children's life.
02:45And so there is no exact number how much the children died from the famine.
02:53But in my observations, the pregnant women also and the little babies will lose their life accordingly and rapidly
03:02because the famine is more aggressive than bombardment that's from the beginning of the genocide here in Gaza.
03:10Ayaz Amawi from Gaza Relief Committee.
03:12Thank you very much for coming on the program.
