00:00There's some wet weather in the forecast for the recall election day, with nearby tropical storms expected to bring brief showers and possibly thunderstorms to parts of Taiwan.
00:09The country has been monitoring two storms as they approach from around the Philippines.
00:13One of those, Tropical Storm Komei, is now weakening, and the other, Francisco, has been downgraded.
00:20Still, meteorologists forecast strong but spotty short-lasting gusts and rain showers throughout the weekend.
00:26Storming weather is set to mainly affect central and southern Taiwan.
