00:20you've heard everything about what jerry jones said in the press conference you've heard everything

00:25that micah parsons said in a response one day later and i know we're all tired of this conversation

00:30but i want to break it down at least one last time before we move on to football because it is a very

00:36important topic but the twist for this video is i'm gonna cut through all of the noise and i'm gonna

00:40tell you where things really stand specifically we're gonna be diving into three big things number

00:45one is when the cowboys talk about leadership when it comes to micah parsons negotiations they're using

00:52it almost as an excuse as to why they have not paid him yet during the opening press conference

00:58for training camp jerry jones said that hey if we want to pay somebody top dollar then we gotta make

01:04sure the leadership part is okay even brian schottenheimer talked about micah parsons taking

01:09that next step as the leader but since we're not doing bs today i'm gonna tell you leadership has

01:15nothing to do with micah parsons not being signed yet the cowboys have been talking about paying

01:21micah parsons going back to the last year jerry jones himself has told us that they had an agreement

01:27in every detail of the contract when he talked to micah parsons he hasn't reached out to the agent

01:33david mulajeta yet but his stance is i agree to everything with micah the cowboys would not have

01:40gotten to that point if they truly had questions about micah parsons's leadership plus i'm not sure you

01:45can knock parsons leadership at this point he showed up to training camp he's there he's taking

01:51the field he's not doing much in workouts or anything like that he's obviously not gonna

01:55participate in team drills where live contact is involved but he's there and that speaks volumes

02:01to him now micah parsons talked to the media in response to jerry jones's comments and he showed

02:06he was unhappy with the situation and one of the big comments that he made was hey if this is the end

02:12this is the end if they don't want me here they don't want me here for the first time micah parsons

02:16publicly took a stand in which he said hey the deal might not happen and i'm okay with it if it

02:22doesn't again this is the no bs breakdown i don't think this is micah parsons telling people hey i am

02:29looking at a future in which i'm not a dallas cowboy i think what micah really is doing is playing the

02:36media just as well as the joneses do i even think that's one of the top two reasons why he's a training

02:42camp in the first place on the one hand sure he's there for his teammates he's there to lead he's

02:48there because head coach brian schottenheimer asked him to be there but there's a huge chance

02:53i would call it a certainty that micah parsons is also there because of this opportunity to talk to

03:00reporters and control the narrative the cowboys are known to negotiate through the media and do it

03:06very well they might not get deals going their way but they get the fans on their side a lot of

03:11the times i'm talking about casual fans for the most part here fans who wouldn't be able to tell

03:16you everything about the salary cap but now parsons is controlling this story hey i'm here i'm even

03:21wearing a helmet and taking the field they don't want to pay me but i'm here looking at everyone in

03:27the nfl get paid including tj watt and miles garrett and i don't understand this is something that he said

03:32i don't understand why they haven't taken care of me micah knows exactly what he's doing here is what

03:37i'm trying to say and lastly the reason why they're waiting if we're living the vs aside honestly the

03:43only explanation i can come up with is they like being talked about jerry jones had that press

03:49conference and the day after espn and many other national shows let off their big shows their morning

03:55shows with conversations about what he had said about the michael parsons negotiations jane slater

04:00interviewed michael parsons for nfl network and that interview blew up you and i might not agree with

04:05that it is not worth it but i think that's what he gets out of this and i think he's okay with it

04:09and he knows they're gonna pay him it's just gonna take a matter of time and it might go down to the

04:14finish line like it did with dak prescott and see the lamb last year but if you ask me micah could be

04:20out of the cowboys next year or two years from now i would say no i would say micah gets his deal
