President Trump takes questions from reporters before heading to Scotland.
Transcript
00:00Good morning, how are you?
00:28Can we ask you about the whole piece of the D.O.J., Bob?
00:32Those young people, they just said, too much winning.
00:35Too much winning, sir, they know it.
00:37And it is a lot of winning.
00:39We had the best six months ever.
00:41We're now heading to Scotland.
00:43I'm meeting with the Prime Minister of the U.K.
00:46Some of you are going, I guess, and a lot of you aren't.
00:49Are you going? Huh?
00:51Well, you've got to get moving.
00:53That's a good one. That's got to be a good one.
00:56So we have great numbers we just announced.
00:59I don't have to go over it because you've seen them,
01:01but we have great economic numbers.
01:03The deal with Japan is amazing.
01:06You give us $550 billion, and we have totally open access into Japan.
01:13Those numbers are great.
01:15I mean, the kids actually just said, very cute, actually.
01:19I walked up and they said, sir, there's too much winning.
01:21They picked up on a little routine, you know.
01:23Go ahead.
01:24Mr. President, can I ask you about the D.O.J.
01:26mail seat that you just filed yesterday against New York City
01:30and Mayor Adams, in the mail seat,
01:32they named the CDP officer in the mail seat
01:35and your call right now.
01:36Yeah. Yeah, that's D.O.J. going against New York.
01:39But we're going against a lot of other places, too.
01:42We want to bring safety to our cities.
01:44But that's a pretty — that's going to be a pretty routine filing
01:48with other cities, too.
01:50As you know, we've started numerous lawsuits with other cities.
01:53We want to bring safety.
01:55We've got to get the criminals out.
01:57And we're doing it in record numbers.
01:59The Press, what are you hoping for last year?
02:01The Press, is the U.S. giving up on Gaza in negotiations?
02:04The President, they pulled out of Gaza.
02:07They pulled out in terms of negotiating.
02:10It was too bad.
02:11Hamas — Hamas didn't really want to make a deal.
02:15I think they want to die.
02:17And it's very, very bad.
02:19And it got — it got to be to a point
02:21where you're going to have to finish the job.
02:24They really — they asked the thing — don't forget,
02:27we got a lot of hostages out.
02:29So now we're down to the final hostages.
02:32And they know what happens after you get the final hostages.
02:35And basically, because of that,
02:37they really didn't want to make a deal.
02:39I saw that.
02:40So they pulled out, and they're going to have to fight,
02:43and they're going to have to clean it up.
02:44You're going to have to get rid of it.
02:45The Press, what are you hoping Todd Lamp gets out of his meeting
02:49with Kille Maxwell?
02:50What are you hoping Todd Lamp gets out of his meeting with Kille Maxwell?
02:53The President, I don't know about the meeting.
02:55I know it's taking place.
02:56And he's a fantastic man.
02:59He's a great attorney.
03:01And people should really focus on how well the country is doing.
03:05Or they should focus on the fact that Barack Hussein Obama led a coup.
03:10Or they should focus on the fact that Larry Summers from Harvard,
03:15that Bill Clinton, who you know very well,
03:18and lots of other friends — really close friends of Jeffrey Summers —
03:22should be spoken about.
03:24Because, you know, Jeffrey Epstein should be spoken about.
03:29And they should speak about them.
03:30Because they don't talk about them.
03:32They talk about me.
03:33I have nothing to do with the guys.
03:34The Press, are you considering —
03:35The Press, are you considering —
03:37The Press, are you considering —
03:38The Press, are you doing any business deals with the UK?
03:41The President, yeah.
03:42I'm going to meet with the Prime Minister right now.
03:44We're going to be over there in about six hours.
03:47We're meeting with the Prime Minister tonight.
03:49We're going to be talking about the trade deal that we made.
03:51And maybe even approve it.
03:54The Press, are you considering clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell?
03:57Are you considering clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell, sir?
04:00The Press, I saw homeless people sleeping right outside the gates of the White House.
04:05Are you concerned about —
04:06The President, I think it's terrible.
04:07And we'll have them removed immediately.
04:09We do remove it.
04:10We've got to get the mayor to run this city properly.
04:13This city has to be run.
04:15You know, I have the right to take it over.
04:17And I think it's terrible.
04:19Where are they?
04:20Where did you see them?
04:21The Press, right outside of Pennsylvania Avenue.
04:24The President, near the Treasury.
04:26The Press, right across this mafia, near the Treasury.
04:28The Press, Mr. President, have you heard about Todd Lance's interview with Ghislaine Maxwell?
04:31The Press, are you still disappointed in President Wilkinson?
04:34The Press, are you still disappointed in President Wilkinson?
04:35Well, I don't want to talk about that.
04:37What I do want to say is that Todd is a great attorney.
04:40But you ought to be speaking about Larry Summers.
04:42You ought to be speaking about some of his friends that are hedge fund guys.
04:47They're all over the place.
04:48They're all over the place.
04:49You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times.
04:53I never went to the island.
04:54The Press, do you maintain you did not write a letter for Jeffrey Epstein?
04:57I don't even know what they're talking about.
04:59Now, somebody could have written a letter and used my name.
05:02But that's happened a lot.
05:04All you have to do is take a look at the dossier, the fake dossier.
05:07Everything is fake with that administration.
05:10Everything is fake with the Democrats.
05:12Take a look at what they just found about the dossier.
05:15Everything is fake.
05:17There are a bunch of sick people.
05:19Where did you see the people laying outside, exactly?
05:21The Press, right across the street from Lafayette Park, sir.
05:23We'll take care.
05:25The Press, are you hoping to meet with President Trump?
05:30The Press for bringing hostages home.
05:32What are the alternative methods to bring hostages home?
05:35Well, we got a lot of them out.
05:37And it's always — I've always said those last 10 or 20 are going to be the toughest.
05:43Because Hamas knows what happens when they don't have any bargaining chips.
05:48And they really broke a deal.
05:50They broke a deal.
05:52And you're going to have to do what you have to do right now.
05:54It's a terrible thing.
05:55And I always knew that.
05:57I said, when you get down to the last one,
05:59they're not going to be able to make a deal.
06:01And would you consider — would you consider a pardon or a commutation
06:04for Elon Maxwell if cooperating —
06:06It's something I haven't thought about.
06:08It's really something —
06:09If they recommend it —
06:10It's something — I'm allowed to do it,
06:11but it's something I have not thought about.
06:12But you wouldn't rule it out, sir?
06:14The Press, Mr. President.
06:15Why has — Mr. President, why has the dollar —
06:17why has the dollar falling so much?
06:20And are you concerned about that?
06:22Well, you know, I'm a person that likes a strong dollar.
06:26But a weak dollar makes you a hell of a lot more money.
06:29I hate to tell you.
06:30I don't know if you study it, but I study it.
06:32And if you look at the yen —
06:33The Press, Mr. President.
06:34I went to Japan and worked.
06:35So I know this.
06:36The President.
06:37The President.
06:38You understand.
06:39Absolutely.
06:40The President.
06:41Oh, you did go today.
06:42I went to work.
06:43Yes, sir.
06:44The President.
06:45Well, that means you're a smarter guy than I even thought.
06:46And I know you're smart.
06:47So, when we have a strong dollar, one thing happens.
06:49It sounds good.
06:50But you don't do any tourism.
06:52You can't sell fractures.
06:54You can't sell crops.
06:55You can't sell anything.
06:57It is good for inflation.
06:59That's about it.
07:00And we have no inflation.
07:02We've wiped out inflation.
07:03But it's an interesting question.
07:05So, I will never say I like a low currency.
07:08But you remember the battles I had with the yuan,
07:11with China and with Japan — Japan being the yen.
07:15They always wanted a weak currency.
07:17They're trying to get a weak currency now.
07:20Now, it doesn't sound good.
07:22But you make a hell of a lot more money with a weaker dollar —
07:25not a weak dollar, but a weaker dollar —
07:27than you do with a strong dollar.
07:28And the first people that are going to notice it
07:31are the manufacturers of trucks and various other things.
07:34Like, look at Caterpillar, how well they're doing now.
07:37When you have a strong dollar, you can't sell anything.
07:39It's only good for inflation.
07:41And it's good psychologically.
07:42It makes you feel good.
07:44But with that being said, I love strong dollars.
07:47But you make your money with a currency.
07:50And I had so many different fights with President Xi,
07:54with — I mean, between Japan and China.
07:57All they want to do is have a weak currency.
07:59They're always fighting for a weak currency.
08:01And that's how they really dominated over the years.
08:04So, when I see it down there, I don't lose sleep over it.
08:07Let's put it that way.
08:08In fact, sometimes they go to sleep very happy.
08:11You understand.
08:12Do you agree with that?
08:14I agree with a lot of what you said, Mr. President.
08:17Do you think it makes any easier to impose your tariff
08:21with that lower dollar?
08:23Because the —
08:24I think it makes it easier even for tariffs, yeah.
08:27And it makes the tariffs worth much more.
08:30And it's easier to pay off debt.
08:33And it's easier to get a low interest rate, too.
08:35There are a lot of good things.
08:36It's hard to explain to people the headline.
08:39We go, oh, Trump wants a weak dollar.
08:41Not a weak dollar.
08:42We — you take a look at the history of China
08:46over the last 20 years.
08:48All they do is fight for a weak currency.
08:50Look at Japan, when they were really doing well.
08:53They had a very weak currency.
08:55So, to me, I just say, thank you very much.
08:59It is —
09:00The Press Press, President.
09:01What's your comment on —
09:02Have you given up on a Gaza peace fight?
09:04Yeah.
09:05Well, the Gaza situation — and I said this was going to happen —
09:08when you get down to your last 10 or 20 —
09:10we got a lot of hostages out.
09:11We took them out in numbers that nobody believed —
09:14a lot of them.
09:15And I said, when you get down to 10 or 20,
09:18I don't think Hamas is going to make a deal,
09:20because that means they have no protection.
09:22And basically, that's what happened.
09:24Hamas didn't want to make a deal.
09:26I think —
09:27The Press Press, President.
09:29I think what's going to happen is they're going to be hunted down.
09:36The Press Press, President.
09:37Secondary sanctions sooner on Russia.
09:39Are you closer today to secondary sanctions?
09:42The President.
09:43It could be that we'll have to put secondary sanctions on that.
09:45A.
09:46Sooner than 50 days?
09:47A.
09:48Maybe, yeah.
09:49Have you taken it counterproducing?
09:52Who are you with?
09:53Who are you with?
09:54A.
09:55It's for snooze.
09:56Oh, good.
09:57Have you taken it counterproductive to France, for France to say that they would recognize
09:59the Palestinian state?
10:01Macron said that yesterday.
10:02A.
10:03Look, he's a different kind of a guy.
10:04He's okay.
10:05He's a team player, pretty much.
10:08But here's the good news.
10:10What he says doesn't matter, you know?
10:11The Pressure is the President.
10:12The President.
10:13The President.
10:14The President.
10:15The President.
10:16The President.
10:17It's not going to change anything.
10:18The President.
10:19Are you going to trade with President President President
10:20President Trump?
10:21The President.
10:22Well, he made a statement.
10:23France.
10:24Macron.
10:25His statement doesn't carry any weight.
10:26He's a very good guy.
10:27I like him.
10:28But that statement doesn't carry weight.
10:29The Pressure is a trade deal with the EU.
10:32I would say that we have a 50-50 chance.
10:37that, but a 50-50 chance of making a deal with the EU.
10:41And it'll be a deal where they have to buy down their
10:44tariffs, because they're right now at 30 percent.
10:47And they'll have to buy them down, maybe.
10:49Or they could leave them the way they are.
10:51But they want to make a deal very badly.
10:53I would have said, we have a 25 percent chance with Japan.
10:57And they kept coming back, and we made a deal.
10:59And the deal is — don't forget, Japan is putting
11:02up $550 billion dollars.
11:04The President is a lot of money.
11:06And also paying tariffs.
11:08The biggest part of the Japan deal — and maybe we get
11:11this with the EU, maybe we don't — is that we have the
11:13right to go in and trade.
11:15We have the right — they've totally opened Japan to the
11:17— just to the U.S.
11:19That's, to me, the biggest part of the deal.
11:21The Press Press on nuclear disarmament.
11:24You said repeatedly you would like to see further
11:26nuclear arms reductions between the United States
11:29and Russia.
11:30I would like to see that.
11:31The Press Press on nuclear disarmament.
11:33You said repeatedly you would like to see further
11:34and it cannot be legally expanded.
11:37The President is a problem for the world.
11:39The Press Press on nuclear disarmament.
11:40The President is a problem for the world.
11:42You know, we have restrictions, and they have
11:45restrictions, as you know, on nuclear.
11:48That's not an agreement you want expiring.
11:52We're starting to work on that.
11:54But that is a — that is a big problem for the world.
11:56When you take off nuclear restrictions, that's a big problem for the world.
12:00There to be a world for Britain.
12:05I think that Jerome Powell — I think we had a very
12:10good meeting.
12:11Forgetting about the building.
12:12That's out of control, all of them.
12:15But I think we had a very good meeting on interest rates, and he said to me — and I don't
12:19Now, I don't know if he's going to say this on Thursday
12:21or when they ever speak, but he said to me very strongly,
12:25the country is doing well.
12:28He said, congratulations.
12:30The country is doing really well.
12:32And I got that to mean that I think he's going to start
12:35recommending lower rates.
12:37The Pressure because of that conversation?
12:38The President, how do you think that the Supreme Court
12:40The country really is doing well.
12:41The Pressure because of that conversation?
12:42The President, how do you think that the Supreme Court
12:44The President, how do you think that the Supreme Court
12:49ruling that benefited you on presidential immunity
12:53would apply to former President Barack Obama
12:56and what you're accusing him of doing?
12:59The President, it probably helps him a lot.
13:02Probably helps him a lot, the immunity ruling.
13:04But it doesn't help the people around him at all.
13:08But it probably helped him a lot.
13:10He's done criminal acts, there's no question about it.
13:14But he has immunity and it probably helped him a lot.
13:19The President, how do we actually find-tune?
13:20The President, he owes to me big.
13:21Obama owes me big.
13:23The Pressure because of the details in the U.K.
13:25trade agreement you're hoping to find-tune
13:27with the Prime Minister this year?
13:28The President, we want to talk about certain aspects
13:30which are going to be good for both countries.
13:32More fine-tuning.
13:34And also, we're going to do a little celebrating together
13:36because, you know, we got along very well.
13:38The U.K. has been trying to make a deal with us
13:41for like 12 years and haven't been able to do it.
13:44We got it done.
13:45He's doing a very good job.
13:47good Prime Minister, good guy.
13:48We really get along very well.
13:50So, we're going to see, we're going to meet at Turnberry
13:52and we're going to meet at Aberdeen.
13:54So, two beautiful places.
13:56The Press is there wiggle room on steel and aluminum
13:58if they were to budge on digital services tax?
14:00The President is there any wiggle room on steel and aluminum
14:03in exchange for any budge on digital services tax?
14:06The President is not a lot, because if I do it for one,
14:08I have to do it for all.
14:10So, on that, steel and aluminum, not a lot.
14:12The Press is the President.
14:14Did you speak to Netanyahu about aid drops?
14:16The President, sorry, Michelle, go ahead.
14:17The Press is the President.
14:18Did you speak to Netanyahu about allowing aid drops
14:20in Gaza from Arab countries?
14:21The President, I speak to them,
14:22but I can't tell you what I spoke to them about.
14:24But it was sort of disappointing.
14:26Although, I told you, I mean, I told you, I told you,
14:29when you get down to those last 20 hostages,
14:33you get down to that last 10 or 20,
14:35it's going to be very hard for Hamas to make a deal,
14:38because they lose their shield, they lose their cover.
14:41We got a lot of them out, a lot of them.
14:43We took a lot of bodies out, too.
14:44You know, so many of the parents said,
14:46please get my son's body back.
14:49And we're able to do that.
14:50We got a lot of people out,
14:51live and people that are not alive.
14:54But it was very important to the parents
14:55to get their son back,
14:56even though they knew their son was dead.
14:58The Press is going to be able to get the Open Championship
15:01back to Turnberry.
15:03The President, I think they will do that.
15:04The Press is going to be right back.
15:05The President, Turnberry is great
15:07as the number one course in the world.
15:09I think they'll do that, yeah.
15:10The Press is going to be right back.
15:11Does anybody talk about that over there?
15:12The President, no, I'm not going to.
15:13It's not about that.
15:15I'm going to see it for the first time in years.
15:16You were there the last time we went.
15:19That's pretty good, right?
15:22No, it's the best resort in the world, I think, at Turnberry.
15:26And it's one of the greatest courses in the world.
15:30We're going to see it.
15:31We're going to have, I believe, dinner at Turnberry
15:34with the Prime Minister.
15:35And then we're going to go to the oil capital of Europe,
15:37which is Aberdeen.
15:39And we're going to have lunches there.
15:41We're going to have a good time.
15:42I think the Prime Minister and I get along very well.
15:45The Press is going to see the Scottish leader, too, right?
15:47Swinney, John Swinney?
15:48The President, I am.
15:49What's that about?
15:51The President, I have a lot of love.
15:54My brother was born in Scotland.
15:56And he's a good man.
15:57The Scottish leader is a good man.
15:59So I look forward to meeting him.
16:00That's all set up, right?
16:01The Press is exactly one of the weeks from today,
16:08August the 1st.
16:10What do you expect between now and next Friday
16:13as it relates to your deadline?
16:15The President, when you say, you say tariff, not Paris.
16:18The Press is tariff.
16:19The President, I think you said,
16:20I think you said Paris Day, I don't think.
16:22The Press is tariff Day.
16:26The President, well, most of the deals
16:28are finished right now.
16:30I'm going to finish because we're just going to
16:31charge a certain tariff.
16:32A lower tariff that I could get.
16:34I don't want to hurt countries.
16:36But we're going to send a letter out sometime during the week.
16:40And it's basically going to say,
16:41you're going to pay 10 percent,
16:43you're going to pay 15 percent,
16:44you're going to pay maybe less.
16:45I don't know.
16:46But Australia was great.
16:48They opened up beef yesterday for the first time ever.
16:51And they did it.
16:52We didn't know about it.
16:52We asked them to do it.
16:53And all of a sudden, we got a word that they wanted.
16:57So obviously, they're looking to do something.
17:00But Australia.
17:01So August 1st is going to come,
17:05and we will have most of our deals finished, if not all.
17:08We haven't really had a lot of luck with Canada.
17:13I think Canada could be one where they'll just pay tariffs.
17:16It's not really a negotiation.
17:19We're working very diligently with Europe, the EU,
17:22which covers a lot of tariffs.
17:24You know, a lot of tariffs and a lot of countries.
17:26And that's the big one right now.
17:28We have the confines of a deal with China.
17:32We haven't really, we don't have a deal with Canada.
17:37We haven't been focused on it.
17:38When you send out those letters, you believe that will bring some certainty to the financial
17:45market because then they will know whatever you pay.
17:48The President": No, no.
17:49When those letters go out, they're a page and a half.
17:52That means they have a deal, it's done, they pay that tariff.
17:55And that is a contract, essentially.
17:57And they can come into the country, they're going to pay a tariff.
18:00I'm going to keep it minimal, I'm going to keep it, you know, I'm not looking to hurt
18:04countries.
18:05I could do that too, but I'm not looking to do that.
18:08But when that letter goes out, that's a deal.
18:10And we'll be sending maybe close to 200 of those letters out.
18:13Don't forget, we have a lot of countries.
18:15So we're going to be sending out almost 200 of those letters.
18:18But once those letters go out, there, we have a deal.
18:22Now, we sent some to, we sent one to Japan, we sent one to EU, and they came back and negotiated
18:29a deal.
18:30I think EU has got a pretty good chance of making a deal.
18:33The President": With all of that revenue coming in, Mr. President.
18:36The President": A lot of money.
18:37The President": Our country was a dead country.
18:42It was a dead country one year ago.
18:44Now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world.
18:47And don't you feel it?
18:48The President": Mr. President, with all of that revenue coming in, tens and tens of
18:53billions of dollars, do you think there is the possibility of a rebate to the American
18:58public in terms of all of that money?
19:00The President": We're thinking about that, actually.
19:02We have so much money coming in, we're thinking about a little rebate.
19:07But the big thing we want to do is pay down debt.
19:10But we're thinking about a rebate.
19:11That's a very good question.
19:13You just made a lot of news.
19:15We just made a lot of news.
19:16We're thinking about a rebate because we have so much money coming in from tariffs that
19:21a little rebate for people of a certain income level might be very nice.
19:26The President": The President is being blocked by a lot of people.
19:41People don't know this, and we didn't certainly get any acknowledgement or thank you, but we
19:46contributed $60 million to food and supplies and everything else.
19:51We hope the money gets there because, you know, that money gets taken, the food gets taken.
19:55We're going to do more.
19:57But we gave a lot of money.
19:59We gave a majority of the money.
20:02And the sad part is that no other country other than us gives anything.
20:06The President": Have you spoken to Michael Watley about running for that North Carolina
20:09?
20:10The President": I have, yeah.
20:11The President": And will he run, do you think?
20:12The President": I think he will.
20:13The President": There are teacher shortages.
20:14So what can we done to get him?
20:15The President": Are you from North Carolina?
20:16The President": My father lives there.
20:18The President": He'll be a good candidate.
20:20The President": What can be done to bring more teachers, more educators into the classroom
20:24to alleviate the teacher shortage across the country?
20:26The President": We're doing that, and we're doing it strongly.
20:28What we're doing is moving education back to the states.
20:31The states will run education.
20:33When they do it, you're going to have the best education in the world.
20:36We'll have 35 or 40 states where it will be as good as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, you know,
20:42the top five or six countries.
20:44The President": How do you attract the top talent, the top talent, the top teachers to get in the
20:48defense?
20:49The President": We're going to get them.
20:50The President": When we bring — when we go back to the states with education, you're going to see a big difference.
20:55The President": Mr. President, what do you think you're going to be?
20:56The President": Is that on the table?
20:58The President": Yes.
20:59The President": Each of you are going on.
21:00The President": Do you trust —
21:01The President": Todd Blanche is a great gentleman.
21:02The President": Do you trust what you're telling him?
21:03The President": He's a great man who's a great lawyer and he's got a great heart.
21:04But he's over there now.
21:17I don't know exactly what's happening, but I certainly can't talk about pardons.
21:21The President": Can you trust — can you trust what she's telling him?
21:23She's a convicted trafficker who's eager to get out of prison.
21:26The President": Well, you know, he's a professional lawyer.
21:27I think he — he's been through things like this before.
21:30But, you know, you should focus on Clinton.
21:33You should focus on the president of Harvard, the former president of Harvard.
21:38You should focus on some of the hedge fund guys.
21:41I'll give you a list.
21:42These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein.
21:44I sure as hell didn't.
21:46Thank you very much.
21:47The President": Mr. President, you should sell me part of your website.
21:49It's not easy to go online.
21:51The President": All we wanted to do is we had the hottest country in the world.
22:02We had a good country one year ago.
22:04Now we're in the hottest country in the world.
22:06All I wanted to do is go into a thing.
22:08I don't know if it's a thing.
22:09That'll take care of the houses.
22:11The houses are a little bit slow than everything else.
22:13Everything we're 100 percent right.
22:15But the houses are not just trading too high.
22:17If you lower it, you're going to see a housing movement on the planet.
22:21We've got the hottest country in the world.
22:24The Pressure Leader of the United States.
22:27The Pressure Leader of the United States.
22:28The Pressure Leader of the United States.
22:30The Pressure Leader of the United States is going to be a little bit slow.
22:33The Pressure Leader of the United States.
22:36I don't know how to do that stuff, but...
22:41He's got a guy here for it.
22:48Now we're going right in the port.
22:54Very sloppy.
22:59It was very sloppy today.
24:33You know, he took a beating.
24:34When you look at the life that they live, he would wrestle sometimes 200 times a year.
24:39Think of this.
24:40And say, what do you wrestle every weekend?
24:42No.
24:43He said, sometimes you wrestle every night.
24:45And it's hard to believe.
24:46And it's hard to believe.
24:47But being a friend, I got to see his wife a little bit.
24:52And his knees were in trouble, his back was in trouble.
24:55He was in such trouble.
24:57But he was great.
24:58He was a great man.
24:59He was an incredible showman.
25:01And he was really a great friend.
25:02And he was a great friend to MAGA.
25:04Who had it.
25:05Mr. President, you signed an executive order to help clean up the streets of America yesterday,
25:10help get the homeless people into treatment.
25:12Can you talk about why this is a common sense approach to help make everybody safer?
25:16Well, it is.
25:17And right outside, we have some tents.
25:18I'm getting rid of them right now.
25:20You can't do that, especially in Washington, D.C.
25:23I talk to the mayor about it all the time.
25:25I said, you've got to get rid of the tent.
25:28We can't have it.
25:29When leaders come to see me to make a trade deal for billions and billions and even trillions
25:33of dollars, and they come in and there's tents outside of the White House, we can't have
25:38that.
25:39Mr. President, it doesn't sound nice, but Mr. President, you want to keep in Ukraine.
25:44You want to keep in Ukraine.
25:45What would it take to force Zelenskyy and Putin to sit down together, maybe with you?
25:50It's going to happen, but it should have happened three months ago.
25:55Mr. President, will you be going to have it?
25:57The Pressure.
25:58The President, should Obama be...
25:59The Pressure.
26:00When is there a message to Harvard, and not that Colombia has such a change to take
26:01some underwriting to?
26:02The President Trump, well, Harvard wants to settle.
26:03But I think Colombia handled it better.
26:06Harvard wants to settle.
26:07But, you know, they have a very good judge.
26:10They have a judge who almost absolutely rule in their favor, even though it's our
26:14case all the way.
26:15But they have a very good Obama-appointed judge.
26:16the way but they have a very good obama appointed judge uh and so they'll get a little kick out of
26:22that but ultimately we win their case and the bottom line is we're not going to give any more
26:27money to harvard we're not giving any more money they were getting five billion and six billion
26:337.2 billion we want to spread the wealth to other schools
