00:05have both been sentenced to one month in jail and fined 1,500 ringgit by the Mu'ar magistrate's court.

00:13Magistrate Susanna Mokhtar delivered the sentence after Tenku Nizaruddin, Tenku Zainuddin,

00:20better known as Ija, and his brother, Tenku Abdulaziz, pleaded guilty as soon as the charge

00:26was read to them in court. The court also ruled that Ija could face up to three months in prison

00:31while his brother could serve up to six months if they failed to pay the fine. The jail term took

00:37effect from the date of conviction. The case began when Tenku Abdulaziz reported that Ija had gone

00:43missing on July 14 while on his way to Mu'ar to repair his vehicle. This sparked a massive four-day

00:50search-and-rescue operation involving over 70 personnel by land, sea, and air. However,

00:57investigators soon detected inconsistencies in the report and concluded that the disappearance

01:03had been staged. Further investigations revealed that Ija had allegedly submerged his wife's vehicle

01:09in Sungaitui, Lenga, before fleeing to a neighboring country.
